When Woods explains how he wants to raise David Mason with Alex dead, you get a hint of Woods coming to terms that although he can't physically be out in the field anymore, he at least has one last mission that he can do. A personal one. Give David the right upbringing so he can be the man who grows up to be the Navy Seal who defeats Raul Menendez and saves the free world.
Woods is an absolute BADASS for sure like OG Price, OG Soap, Reznov, & The Ghosts. I’m sure he would’ve liked to die out on the battlefield but that moment is past him now. That chapter in his life has closed, there’s a new chapter he must open & its name is David “SECTION” Mason!!
When I saw him sitting there I took a screenshot of it and made it my Home Screen on my Xbox. He’s a fictional character but it still kills me to see him like this. He’s a character I’ve grown up loving. I wish they dove deeper into his character in the game. Considering how much emotion he shows in the older games, a moment where we went deeper than just the one showcased in the dark room would have carried a long way.
This is why to this day, I am heavily against Alex Mason being alive as it would undermine Black Ops 2's themes of suffering as the same way Josefina affected Menendez, he wants Woods to suffer the same way he did, Woods should have a constant reminder every day for what he did. Alex showing makes some of the themes ( and Raul Menedez as a villain) of Black Ops 2 pointless in my opinion. Now that we know that Hudson is NOT the mole, Woods would probably feel guilty for initially hating Hudson ( if Hudson didn't lie, David would have been killed by Menendez).
Hey branwolf it’s charli I’ve been loving your theory videos on black ops 6 but I gotta ask is commander graves is our boy Why is the new commentary for the new warzone the guy says This is shadow 0-1 deploying to warzone But that’s not commander graves now idk if all war zones have had these phrases but he sometimes says line for line bar for bar what graves says in mw3 now call it what u want but I think it’s a cheap way out unless there’s some story behind i don’t think anyone will cover it but you So yea lmk what u think of the new warzone announcers

Woods had it the roughest of all the other black ops teammates. And many in the COD community loves him for that.

Frank Woods is my second most favorite character of Black Ops after Alex Mason. The actor was incredible.

I'll have to look and listen to it next time and see what's going on... it may just be an oversight they didn't really care about but I will look!
