But God is the perfect Father who corrects from love, and doesn’t punish in rage. Earthly fathers who rule with rage and physical abuse, the enemy uses to corrupt the image of God as our Heavenly Father. It’s the overwhelming love of God that brings healing to those wounds and allows us to learn who He really is as a loving and perfect Father and Lord.
