That's because there's a lack of bikes stock. Specially for low-mid spec range bikes.

@@GeeMilner Gee why the hand welding vs the standard tig/mig welding? Is it a cromoly or aluminum frame(I'm not much of an expert on welding btw)? Beautiful work I might add, the extra bracing really ties it all together. Fucking great job mate!

Thats not MTB. Looks like a over specked dirt jumper. No need for the dropper and the long travel fork on this build. IMO
@@e7540 technically dirt jumpers are Mtbs. But for a dirt jumper the seat tube angle is to steep.

18:56 all of said grease is scraped off when the crank is installed.
That was enough grease for ten dream builds.

I would never take 1x on a hardtail. And maybe it's a guy from my generation who still knows how to handle it 😂
@@mazevx2451 to each his own, I guess. I grew up on 3x, then appreciated the efficiency of 2x, and today prefer the simplicity of a 1x on my hardtail. But I still see the merits of a 2x system and why people would prefer them to this day
AMAZIN!! No massive factory, no assembly line production, no mindless automaton workers waitin for their next coffee break, no computers operatin the whole assembly of the next bike in line. HAND BUILT FROM START TO FINISH!! How rare and kickass is this?! JUST TO DAMN SICK!! HOLY SHIT!! THIS HARDTAIL IS JUST TO DAMN BEAUTIFUL TO RIDE OFF ROAD AND GIT DIRTY!!
My favorite build on this channel. Was really surprised to see 2x drivetrain and syncros integrated handlebar. And the frame, it just looks so good.

That was the most beautiful welding job plus the follow up sanding/polishing. Wish this was the standard for all bike welds, but most likely too labor intensive and not cost effective. The welds looks exactly like my 90’s Cannondale F400 Polished aluminum frame hardtail. Subscribed!
