@@akaededeval374remember that people with different faces can have the same essences + it'salways a blend of several. it's not about a feature itself, but more about it's quality. a sharp nose can be big or small, wider or narrower, but it's still sharp. you don't have to look the same as someone to have same essences or one same essence in the blend

They represent a minority of attractive ppl who has their makeup-hair done by professionals resulting in gorgeous and perfected photos and often get surgeries for aesthetic purposes. So having real people as the reference photos really puts it into a better perspective for us ordinary people

Recently I realized I'm more of a dramatic classic body type. I had decided that I was SD with N essence. After comparing my face with these examples, I think I'm correct but also see a little ethereal in there.

Look for the impression of you that people have first when they meet you. If they though you look very young that you actualy are consider gamine or ingenue. If they think you look older may consider others types. Is you look aproachable or people always think u are nice, kind or easy to talk maybe natural,if they precive you as serious,calm,or kind tend to become more "good in behaviour" because they think u could reprove or judge consider classic. If people always feel fear when they dont know you,or you are agressive,you have drama consider dramatic. U could watch dear peachie video's "8 makeup archetype " there u could learn,is very helpfull!!
Exactly! I'm a soft dramatic but my face looks like it belongs to a different body xD Not sure which type but I think there's some ingenue and/or romantic. This makes me give off some "cutesy" vibes despite my more bold body posture which is fun, so more cute styles dont look off on me as long as I stick to some soft dramatic lines
Well done. I am a romantic ingenue face and essence but a soft natural body type and soft summer color pallet. Soft is an over arching theme and it has helped me soooo much pairing down my wardrobe and shopping, all harsh geometry and strong colors are a no. I don't even go for stripes unless they are in soft blue or pink. The only geometric pattern I can pull off well is gingham because it has a sweetness to it ❤

I have an oval face....but I don't think I'd be ethereal. My eyes are small and a bit close together, I have a wide nose, small mouth but full lips. Can't really see my cheek bones and my cheeks are chubby no matter what weight I am. But my body is flamboyant gamine style
I think in the beginning Is very difficult to get the difference between the two. But there are many. TR are more tiny in general, smaller and sharper Bones. SN even if short/medium in height are more moderate in the bone structure I am SN and i am sure i am not TR because 1 the clothing reccomendations for theatrical romantic looks bad on me and 2 i dont look "delicate" at all
I’m kind of in the same boat as you, but TR vs SD vs SN. I don’t think I fit one type. Ellie (this creator) made a new categorization matrix recently which I like WAY better than the kibbe types, since it’s more straight forward and inclusive, and I think you will like it too.
I’m still recovering from cosmetology school when my 900 yr old instructor told me my face was *OBLONG* …not the best descriptor.. think I prefer “dramatic” lol

you don’t need to choose. face types, or essences, are chosen more by percentages than by picking one, like Kibbe/body types.

try not to go by face shapes, in that case, unless you already know what your face shape is. look at your features - eyes, lips, nose
