This type of song is the one that is always embedded in the brain, and always manages to relax you too much. This was a great period of music, each one had its own sound. it's sad, we're getting old, it's amazing, we can always hear them
This song and whole EP blew my mind back in the day. Loved all earthtone9 up to this point, but this really felt like they had reached their pinnacle. Released around the same time as Tool's Lateralus, an amazing time for metal.
I was at this gig. Also I was at their last ever gig on my 21st birthday. Oh and I have the three ripples logo tattooed on my wrist. Yeah you could say I'm a bit of a fan. :D
I will always love this band. I remember eating cornflakes backstage with Karl (the vocalist) and my mate Barry, just straight out the box and getting really pissed. Sound guys. As was Karl when we put The Blueprint on in Cov. These will always remain in the top 5 of my favourite bands ever.
This band used to be so vital the new stuff seems so run of the mill. Did they ever play a set longer than 30mins? I saw them a lot and every time 30 mins
I totally agree. They should have dominated the planet! It disgusts me that they didn't. They pissed over anything from the US. I was lucky enough to go on tour with these boys, get to know them and get pissed with em lots. Really nice guys too!
just found this video while reminiscing! I used to be a soundie in Cov and did the Blueprint gig at the jailhouse! also worked on the et9 gig at the golly a few years before that. You know they have reformed right?
Only just saw this post, a decade later! Me and my friend Ritchie put on that gig! I'm sure you did the sound for a few of our gigs at The Jailhouse didn't you (New Noise?). Legend! Hope you're keeping well these days, mate. 🖤
I saw them play at London Arena as part of a festival when Nine Inch Nails was meant to headline. Unfortunately Trent Reznor had diarreah and so cancelled. Anyway this band were playing when I came into the arena, the singer was wrapped in clingfilm and you could see his arse. First gig ever.
ahh this brings back a few good memories :D Casket are you an employe of ET9's old record label by any chance? or are you part of the old crowd that hung out on their message board?
One of my all time fav bands. For anyone interested in finding some similar music i advise Mnemic. Danish metal band. Don't listen to the last album with the new singer tho - it aint so hot. Peace.
Copro wouldn't let you promote them??? I'd be interested to know why!! ET9 got good exposure here in the UK but I think the label were out of their depth abroad. I guess the best way is to license bands to other labels abroad so they get maximum exposure overseas.... after all the label will still make money from album sales. Can't loose really!!
Clueless in Dorset, were you one of the crowd that hung about on the board? Name and shame my friend. I think Casket's probably Jose. As for the subject, a total shame and a waste of what I still regard to be the best UK band of the last decade. Mon the et9!!

No matter how many years I've been listening Earthtone9 I will still love and enjoy their music! Pure art!
Me too 🔥❤️🔥

I've tried to get into the ep and album after this omega ep but to me they are missing something.

Such a great band.
The finest of tunes by the finest of bands

Sometimes its best that bands don't go mainstream.... Awesome band...
Ich liebe das Lied! So viele Erinnerungen…

Its a shame this band broke up....but i guess we still have them kind of, in the form of Twinzero.
A lot like Earthtone 9, but a little more consistently heavy. I have Monolith, and it is KILLER.
not only british .. most unrrated metal/progressive band in the world!
audio quality sounds rough on this vid
