Anyone who owns a Jeep Wrangler knows they were not meant for driving fast. I think mine only goes up to 100 mph and around 80ish mph or if I accelerate too fast it’ll start to shake, which is why I don’t speed in it at all. So I can’t ever imagine it winning a drag race let alone one in snow
Jeep SRT, a sports V8 SUV vs a Wrangler, goes up hills and crawls vs Big heavy SUV. This test doesn't seem fair. Who is going to drive that fast in the snow anyways... this video looks like it could be a tire commercial, cause no one will be accelerating that fast in the snow.
Acceleration in snow - it all comes down car weight which translates to tire grip. Assuming all three have equivalent snow tires, of course the Infiniti would win - it's the heaviest.
this movie is not true ... my friend has a grand cherokee srt hemi a little older than the one in the movie and I know how to accelerate in the snow. this infinity has no chance
Great video. For those who don't understand, this video gives a glimpse of what to expect under heavy acceleration in snow. If you're in the market for an all purpose vehicle, you'd need this video.
Infinity is heavier which is good in the snow plus a big v8 where the wrangler is smaller and has a smaller engine and not made for performance. The grand Cherokee has a big v8 also but less weight which actually makes a difference on snow and ice. But Lao tires like you mentioned.
What a joke!!! Nissan is not even in same class. Check out all the other videos on TH-cam and see for your-self. Jeep kicks it's ass in everything, especially in looks!!! Keep that shit in Japan!
Nissan vehicles outlive jeeps by a wide margin and I've owned multiple of both. Also that QX80 is just a rebadged Nissan Patrol, which is really only second to the Land Cruiser in terms of real life dependable off-roading.
The QX is a beast in the snow for sure.
interesting, but not sure what the point of the video is
A pointless video with no real test done fair.

Shiiiiiiit I do 😝
Infiniti is amazing😍
As always known Nissan Patrol (Infinity qx80) is the King of OFFROAD
Goood video keep it up.
Not even close. Grand Cherokee and wrangler are way better than a qx80 off-road.
Dont forget its brother land cruiser
patrick jackson nah a actual patrol is way better.
william Strachan I’m just talking cars we can get in the U.S and nissan is just garbage here.
patrick jackson garbage? Nissan build quality is better than dodge/Chrysler and reliability isn’t even close.
Would be nice to know tire usage
It all comes down to weight
Tires make all the difference blizzaks on my Jeep srt8 never a problem
Infiniti truck! bad ass!
I'm pro Nissan Infiniti all day but the only way it beat that 6.4L v8 is because the extra weight must've given it more traction
It also has lower gearing and being built on the Nissan Patrol platform has phenomenal traction control.
I couldn't handle driving that fast in snow
My first time driving in snow I crashed due to understeer 😐
qx80 curb weight is 2.85tons it still the fastest
weight helps in this instance. more weight on tires equals higher coefficient of friction
No shit thats what gives you traction in snow is the weight there Isaac Newton

It's all about tires. Weight is a disadvantage.
I doubt test is with snow tires should be only as sold
three tons of Japanese steel hell yeah
I wonder if stability control was turned off

weight...
So,,,?
Jeep still way better let’s be honest here
Keep it. I’ll take the reliable of that big Japanese V8 along with that interior.
The infiniti would outlive both of those Jeeps.
It's literally a Nissan Patrol. The only reason not to take it over a Jeep is because you can afford a Land Cruiser.

hey bud, its just a video. But anything DODGE, Chrysler sucks
