In real life, evidence has shown that theris claws were more so used to pierce rather than slash due to the way they ae structered. I personally think it would be cool to see the theri use the bleed charge attack instead.
I dont think that rex would attempt to take down a theri. Seeing as they dont live together (both time- and continental wise), a theri would be something completely new to the rex. Studies show that rex is actually pretty damn smart for an animal, and is capable of observing its opponent. The rex would probably ignore the theri, seeing as the consequences could be rather dire if the rex did decide to pick a fight with the likes of theri. If they WERE to fight, i'd say its a 55/45 with the odds against the theri. Both are capable of some incredible offensive potential, its just that rex needs to end the fight as soon as possible.

I also believe that Theris claws would break after a dramatic battle, they were more used for grabbing branches, is this true?
