Riley done Wonderful ❤! I ve made those bars before using lemon cake mix and put lemon flavoring in the top layer. We called it Lemon Bars. Those are Great too! I wish I could have been there with yall to try one of those Brownies with Vanilla Ice cream. ❤😊

Tip : when spreading thick batter over sprayed pan or dish take a piece of sprayed parchment paper or sprayed cling wrap lay over the batter in pan or dish and using hand spread out by lightly pushing batter over bottom of dish and up to the sides , then gently lift the paper or cling wrap up and throw away !!

a little spritz of cooking spray in the measuring cup would help the batter come out easier. I make a lot of "homemade" goodies using boxed cake mix. There's nothing wrong with that.
Lol, of course the yolk fell into the bowl when you were showing Riley how to separate the yolk from the white - the camera was on. That's a sure fire way chaos will happen. I finally figured out it was easier to just pour the egg into my open hand and the white runs through into the dish while I can catch the yolk with my fingers. Hands are the best kitchen tools, that and a pair of chopsticks.

Get her a ice cream scoop they come in different sizes that would make it easier for her to measure out and easier to put in.
The only thing that I can say is be careful putting your egg on hot melted butter. It can cook the egg before it goes in the oven.
