In case no one said it Paws, the reason the suppressor on the shotgun was so large is because it would probably explode if it was small like ones for rifles or pistols. Shotguns expel a lot of gas when fired and the suppressor basically muffles the sound by catching and slowing the release of that gas.
Also that 12ga shotgun rounds have a significantly larger diameter than rifle or pistol rounds. Meaning that the supresor must also be that much large to accommodate. It can be, but not quite to that degree or in quite that way. Here, you can see gravity has been reduced from Earth normal (probably to save her back and shoulders) and the elastic nature of clothing was not modeled properly at all (the bra and shirt should drag the tips of the breasts into a still and stable position more quickly than the center of the breast). You are correct, the majority of gun violence in the country is done with handguns specifically because they are easy to carry with you. Rifles actually see the least use in gun violence because they are harder to take places without people knowing. Something as small as a handgun easily conceals in the pocket of a jacket or the belt line of pants under a shirt.

AKs made by the Cugir factory in Romania have been basically the king of affordable AKs here in America for at least the past 20 years. Romanian AKs are especially known for sometimes having a "dong" on their handguards. Look up "Romanian dong AK" and you'll see what I'm talking about. Also you hit the nail on the head when you mentioned the fact that criminals aren't going to follow gun laws and the only people It'll effect are the law abiding citizens that weren't going to commit any crimes anyways. That's the reason people here hate gun control and fight so hard against it. Because it effects good people the most.
16:29 Yes actually, because handguns are actually an overwhelming majority of gun violence/gun deaths. “Assault weapons” make up like 3% at best. It’s just infinitely easier to conceal, then pull out a handgun from your waistline than it is to whip out a whole rifle from your vehicle.
"Wouldn't a pistol make more sense?" It depends on what you need a firearm for. Most automatic weapons are generally use for entertainment or educational purposes. If you plan to hunt in the US we do have some very large and dangerous animals where you would want to bring a weapon that could reliable and cleanly kill the animal before it either killed you or suffered excessively. Mountain lions for example can get to around 125 kilograms, wolves have gotten to just short of 80 kilograms, elk can get up to 540 kilograms, and moose up to 700 kilograms. Each animal has weapons that would be reliable against it and those that you would have to be a lucky shot to do a quick kill. The more skin, muscle, and bone an animal has between the bullet and the vital organs the more penetration you would need, and too little and you risk having the bullet glancing off or having it embed in the outer layers before it can do effective damage. Florida has been known to have gators around 450 kilograms and over 4 meters long. One reason you are legally allowed to be armed while fishing, so you can defend yourself if you get ambushed as they can eat you.
My most indelible memory of visiting Bucharest to stay with a good friend there is when one of his pals gave us a lift in her brand new VW Golf. She was a well to do, up-town lady. When I put on my seat belt she asked what I was doing. "We're only going 5 minutes." Apparently Romanians are so YOLO that using a seatbelt for a short trip is seen as an insult to the driver.
“Can people really use/own assault rifles?” If they’re fully automatic/burst? Short answer no. Long answer, kind of, but most likely, no. Last time I checked, the amount of automatic weapons in general registered in the U.S. was at 700,000. That is compared to the like, 400 million guns that are owned. You can expect anyone who legally owns a proper assault rifle to be the last person to commit a crime; considering that unless they inherited the gun from a family member, they probably paid up the ass in licensing fees alone.
@@pawsvtuber just google it :D back when romanian was adopting the AK they wanted it to be more ergonomic, the easiest way to achieve that was by modifying the handguard (the wooden bit at the front were you hold the rifle) instead of the normal one they made them with a built in vertical grip. Do people use assault rifles in mass "incidents"? Statistically, no, not really. The reason people think they do is a case study in "recency bias" -- that is, things you can remember more clearly, you believe happen more often than things you can't remember as clearly. It is true that the very rare large mass incidences (a "mass shooting" is defined as 3 or more casualties, so I'm going to add "large" to that to mean "more than 10 or so") are generally from rifles, but that's because they were a tool of convenience for very prepared and determined individuals. Bombs and swords would do the same job (and probably better, in the case of bombs), they're just more of a pain to make and use. Also they don't look as cool, because for some reason the rule of cool matters when you're going out with a bang. The rule of cool also apparently matters in banning things, but that's probably another case study in recency bias. For example, butterfly knives are banned in Canada, despite being the slowest and most finicky knife to open, because they look too cool. Well, the law says something more like "can be flicked open without touching the blade", but I can do that with my stupid little completely regular 2.5 inch folding knife, and _it's_ perfectly legal in the eyes of Canadian law enforcement, so I'm calling horseshit. Or the lawmakers need to get stronger wrists, pick one.
Brandon was almost my Congressman. Lost by ~500 votes. Better luck next time, I suppose. Anywho, another awesome thing about pump-action, is that they sometimes don't include a device called a trigger disconnect. This means you can just hold the trigger down and run the pump. This is called "slam fire". Shotguns like the Ithaca 37 and the Winchester 1897 (aka, the trench gun) are two such weapons with this feature. Any advantage you think slam fire provides, well, it's crap. You'll be far more capable by actually aiming and pulling the trigger when needed. If you want to fire a shotgun fast, buy a Fostech. Also, pump-action isn't the actual name for this system; slide-action is correct (though nobody cares).
Shotgun suppressors are huge because of the unGodly amount of gas a 2 3/4 inch shot shell produces. And I just notices I'm not the only who has pointed that out.....
If you want to learn more about Romanian weapons, Forgotten Weapons is a great channel. If you think want to learn WAY more than you really do, Mishaco is even better. Mishaco isn't very 'exciting' content but is a good source for a variety of very specific variants through different time periods.

What I learned from this video is that Romanian = Ork from Warhammer.
Paws...............Today I didn't even have to use my AK
If you want to learn more about Romanian weapons, Forgotten Weapons is a great channel. If you think want to learn WAY more than you really do, Mishaco is even better. Mishaco isn't very 'exciting' content but is a good source for a variety of very specific variants through different time periods.
16:34 Pistols are harder to get.
Of course you liked the gun, Paws! You're Romanian!
AK ❤🇷🇺
I've seen one in real life I was like WTF IS THAT
God damn, I'm thirsty now and i don't know why. Also in other news, we love brandon herara reactions!
The suppressor for shotguns are different because of the ammunition used otherwise it would blow up in your face😅. I like how she got nervous when he made a slightly political joke and this pretended to not notice and glossed over it 🤣
we need more brandon herrera reactions. the romanian woman who lives under a rock needs more firearm education.
Watch, the US will find a way to ban rifles eventually and just like that we're going to have Nato 7.62 caliber arrows for hunting bows.
Then just assemble energy based ones .
Because by definition they are technically industrial tools
They should add that to call of duty bo6🗣️🗣️
Why did her shirt remind me that i actually need to go buy milk
Loved the video @PawsVtuber! Can't wait for the next video Girl! Glad to see you Checking out some of Brandon Herrera's videos Girl! Lot's of Interesting Designs and Breakdowns there. He's actually from my part of the World, Prince George's County, Maryland, United States of America. If the Area wasn't so Gung Ho in favor of BLM and Antifa, My parents and I definitely would've been among those who would vote him into Congress. Literally, within 2 years of the George Floyd Protests, BLM was still on Patrol ready to attack any White People because to them White Men and Women are only Voting for People like Trump..... Which by all legal rights and Technicalities makes them racist and Sexist but in today's Social Standards, It's only Racist if a White Man Attacks a Black man and Sexist if a White Man attacks a Woman. Yes, This is the Area, State and Very Mid-Atlantic Region of the United States of America we both live in or in Brandon's case at least From.
The PAR-1 is kinda Blursed though, Not gonna lie! I wonder if the Romanian Police or the Romanian Army (like the Squad Sergeants) use these when they go perform a Breech and Clear while Searching a Building?
Let me know what you think about this and I'll catch you in your next video Girl!
17:00 and you realize the problem congratulations you’re smarter than a congressman. You now understand why most people don’t like the bands because people who have them are just collectors.

A small comment as a sacrifice for the algorithm gods.
If you're interested in the real thing, look into your local laws about it. If possible, check out a gun club to learn safe handling procedures and squeeze off a few rounds (with supervision at first) to see if you like it.
