Gris Futuro - Juodi Žirgai

New Gris Futuro single from upcoming LP Nowadaze comes along a band of black stallions. Sung in Egle’s native Lithuanian the track draws inspiration from the English expression “dark horse” which refers to someone with a surprisingly hidden talent or an unexpected accomplishment. It is an ode to oneself’s deepest depths and inner black sun where intuition and all the strength of the self flourishes, as well as a hypnotic ride to get one’s hair loose in the wind, shine that eye in the dark, seek that golden ticket.
The A-Side is accompanied by a video filmed by film director Vytautas Tinteris in summer 2024 at one of the Baltic states’ best kept secrets - the sculpture Europos parkas (The Park for the Center of Europe) founded in 1991. A limited edition of the single in 7" format will be soon available on Aeviternae records. Accompanying the first single from the future LP comes eXuviA - a groovy nod to Cronenberg’s cult movie and the inevitable transhumanist tendencies our now-a-dazing world is facing.
