Hold up there Tex. Or should I say Mrs. Tex? We are 2 games into a 9 conference game schedule & we haven't played on the road yet. Our OL is still a work in progress, we have no pass rush, and all too often it looks like our players and coaches are not on the same page. Other than that, oh yeah, we are in great shape. I'm not saying we can't run the tables, I'm saying let's see what happens after dark in Arizona. We are in one game at a time mode & that is as far as we need to be looking at this moment.
Texas Tech MUST get some key players back if they have any chance. Bralyn Lux must be back.
As long as they don’t gift AZ with 85 yards of stupid penalties and Tahj Brooks is standard Tahj, Tech wins. AZ really doesn’t have an answer for the run he brings. Wreck em!
Brayln Lux , starting corner has played two games, when he pays, tech secondary gives up 166 ypg on average. We have a very young secondary without him. He sat two weeks, should be playing against AZ.
We can certianly dream...., the last road game didn't go so well, so this should be an interesting matchup this weekend. IF, Texas Tech can pull out a W...., then maybe.....Wreck Em' Tech!
This is a stretch. Love the analytics though. The road to being a GREAT team this year is:
1) better conditioning to prevent injuries
2) a more disciplined Kitley. He has GOT to stop calling cute plays. We’ve given up too many red zone TDs and settled for a field goal.
3) our DBs are handing out points like candy.

I just don’t think the defense can hold up. Our offense with brooks and play action is kind of unstoppable though. But my 2000s tech fandom pretty well proved it doesn’t matter without a serviceable defense. Sucks because aidere and Spencer would of changed a lot. Needed them setting the edge.
Abilene Christian has a better offense than many big 12 programs this year lol. Iowa st, baylor, osu, utah, wvu, houston, az state. With that being said, the pass d has not been good. If we can force turnovers or get lucky with a few stops, lots of these future opponents just wont be able to keep up with us on the scoreboard. Arizona and colorado have good qbs, maybe tcu, but the rest of our schedule doesnt seem (on paper) to be able to punish our biggest weakness.
