I bought the Masterpiece Ghost Starscream, took it out of the box, looked at the instructions and put it back in the box lol!
Some of those instructions are freaking useless. I basically transformed masterpiece Thrust without the instructions as they were so confusing. I figured it couldn't be that different from Starscream and it wasn't. Soundwave was the hardest one for me, as far as masterpiece collections goes.

@@cosmicboi1650 Yes, he looks great too. Never seen a masterpiece Blitzwing but, I do like the new Blitzwing figure that came out like a month ago. Probably the best Blitzwing I've seen / bought. Looks just like the original G1 version.

7:33 I've said for years that this is a step they should have done from the very beginning.
So I've got the MP-11 (the 'fixed' version of the original Starscream mold) for my Masterpiece Starscream, the original MP-6 with the hip skirts for my Skywarp, and I'm planning on getting the upcoming MP-52+ for my Thundercracker... so I can have a proper Seeker Trio without having to retread the same mold.
I'm feeling good about this.
That’s actually a good idea. There’s no written rule that seekers must all be exactly alike. It adds personality for them to be a little unique.
Owned the original way back in the day, shame we never had this level of toys back then.
I know what you mean. I was born in 1975. The Transformers we had were bricks. Most looked different from their cartoon version. No way to pose them. But using our imagination, they looked just like the G1 cartoon. 😂
I love the Masterpiece line, but I feel like I'll only get to see the vehicle mode several times, as after a few transformations, I get afraid that something will break off. On my MP-52, after transforming him back into a jet for only the first time, the dark gray piece inside the cockpit broke off. I decided to turn him back into a robot and a robot he shall stay.
Edit: Thinking about it keeping it in robot mode makes more sense anyway, since with the multiple faces and posability you can show so much character with them. If I want a neat jet to display, I'll look for one that is just a jet.

This looks like a fun transformation.
Yeah nothing fun about it.. I'd say it's the worst n most difficult. Pieces feel like they're going to break.. thin plastic in some areas. I said I'd never transform him back to his alt mode but he won't fit in the box otherwise.
@@scottthibodeau716 Can't say I agree, it's pretty fun for me. Looks great in both modes, doesn't take a crazy amount of time, and personally I doubt anything will break if you just take your time.
At the very least it looks about fifty times more fun than that third party one people were so excited about.

3 years later, I'm at this video struggling to transform my skywarp back into jet mode. I swear I was never gonna touch this mold again until I realized I have thundercracker as well...
I could really use some help please!! I have the Skywarp version of this guy and I can not fit the love of me get the nose cone to twist and I’m absolutely terrified of breaking it!! Any advise on this??

I wonder if takara engineers will be able to use AI to help design transformations for new figures now. When are they going to make MP cyclonus and galvatron? Blitzwing wand astrotrain would be nice too.

Not like many of those old MPs looked great from the back.
Was the gur walk mode in the cartoon ?
Yes it was, they used the gur mode for when they either land or take off
It helped make the transition from a robot on the ground to a jet in the air or vise versa look smoother

I think MP-11 is being counted as a 1.5 rather than 2.0. After all, it was essintially the same mold and transformation with a few tweaks.
Broke a tiny piece off because of lack of instruction came back to goat emgo for help and I got exactly what i needed

Yeah for $275 he should be able to stand well, n sadly he doesn't. I'll never buy a TT transformer again. 3rd party transformers are leaps n bounds better than TT.

Looks fantastic but I'm done paying $250 plus on these masterpiece figures. Sadly, Starscream is my favorite character. I think I paid like $120 for the original masterpiece Starscream. I was about to buy this until I saw the price.
As someone who owns it now, I'd say it worth the price. You'll never need to buy another Screamer again.

Well, I got the EG-01 KO version for $80, it’s even better than the original.
@@mattkuzminski8035 Finally broke down and got him. He's definitely worth it. Been thinking for a while as Starscream is my favorite Transformer but it was just the pricetag. Way better than d original in robot mode. What I don't get is why are Skywarp and Thundercracker so much cheaper when they're all basically the same? Thank goodness Emgo has a transformation video as I totally skipped the instructions and came straight here.
This figure looks tremendous. The transformation from plane to robot is ok but from robot to plane is a nightmare. So many tabs and ports that are absent that could hold this together. Instead you spend a lot of time pushing this together while that pops apart and going back and forth and forth and back while it fights you the whole way. Word of advice, it comes in plane mode. Take it out and transform it into robot mode and never transform it to plane again.
You can see Emgo fighting the wings and the legs the whole way. It's horrible.
Terrible engineering.
