Dark Pit tries too hard. As a Kid Icarus fan, I don't really consider him a villain, he's much more of an anti-hero, imho (he has a mini redemption arc in the game). His theme still slaps, though. I prefer his level theme to his boss theme personally, but regardless, it is a BOP!

A lot of person think Dark Pit is edgy, and while yes, he is, he isn't as much edgy people think he is, most of the time he speak softly (except when pissed or sometime when fighting) and he is, like, very sassy, and yes, he is an anti-hero
Also Pittoo is a dork, like everyone in this game, remember the Pre-boss rallying cry, HE IS THE ONE THAT PLANNED IT

when i fought darkest lord BigEyes, (literally just a mii with big eyes and sunglasses, dunno why i made her), it took me many attempts. then i fought darkest lord harriet(different save file, no idea who harriet is) and lost even more times, but when i fought dark lord observer, on my 3rd save file, i had a plan. and died loads anyway. thats a hard boss

Good way to start off going with Bowser Jr's boss theme from the Galaxy games. While Bowser was the main threat, Bowser Jr. very much so managed to keep up with his dad in stride through those games.

You know, we make a lot of jokes about Dedede's villain status, given that a lot of times he's been under mind control, and on the occasions he's not, doesn't pose too much of a threat, especially not compared to the death gods Kirby fights on the regular. But we forget. Dedede _knows_ the extent of Kirby's power. Knows it well. And while he's not the only one to have challenged Kirby multiple times despite that, since Meta Knight is right there, there was only one instance where Meta Knight wasn't either under control himself, or testing Kirby before he walked into the arms of a threat-the Halberd incident in Super Star, where he was thoroughly trounced. Dedede is the only Kirby character to, merely as he is, challenge Kirby directly, with the sole intent of defeating him, more than once and survive. Kirby slays cosmic horrors on the regular, and Dedede considers _that_ his only worthy rival. Yeah Kirby is basically a god, but Dedede could clobbah us all in like 3 seconds too.

I mean, Planet Robobot's description for the Dedede Clone 2.0 specifically states that Dedede "might be the strongest entity on the planet". So yeah, it's even acknowledged in canon that he's second only to Kirby and, given the plot of Fighters 2, equal to Meta Knight.

So Revenge of the Puppet Master from Team Kirby Clash Deluxe @ 1:31:31 seems to edited in a Siivagunner way. You can hear instruments added that play Patched Plains (1:31:40), Meet the Flintstones (1:31:51), and Snow Halation (1:32:05). Weirdly, I can't find an upload of this track with these edits anywhere on TH-cam. I'm just posting this so that there's a record that someone somewhere noticed the work of whoever decided to do this. Thanks for putting the funny motifs into the Kirby song.

I can never get over what a triumph that game is. It's funny, full of heart and charm, the game does so good with disguising it's runtime. Just when you think you're getting close to the end of the game, there is more to go, and it's so heckin' great.

That depends on the series. Some zombie viruses travel through the bloodstream, others travel through the "nerves", however that works... others just give you an infection that you can halt if you amputate quickly enough. However, most are just ambiguous and don't explain how they travel through the body.

The game was so underrated, after all, and potentially one of the best Kirby Games.
kirby star allies (which this remix comes from) arranged songs from _every_ previous kirby game, to represent the whole series. so it's not really a surprise. amazing mirror remixes are abundant in the newer kirby games.

8:42 I just got finished listening to Kingdom Hearts music, and wow, this is definitely Yoko Shimomura. Not complaining, of course, her music is amazing.
Dark Pit's more of an anti-hero, a rival of sorts really. But as a character in Kid Icarus Uprising he had tremendous moments that showcased how ridiculously strong he was and how much of a force of nature he could be if he wanted to. Joke intended. If you understand, you understand.

Honestly his level theme is even better imho. In that one the Spanish guitar gets back by an electric organ and the two blend into this almost playful dance of a track as Dark Pit shows off his independent flying prowess while also taking cheeky potshots at Pit because he can. His boss theme is a bit more one-on-one, with a bit more of a serious tone with the deeper drums, since that one is actually a fight, but the level theme is just him being a cocky, disrespectful dork showing off how cool and independent he is.
Holy Shinx, that background image is Cool as Frick. Most famous Nintendo villains in a Persona-looking screen. Freaking amazing.

1:36:03 ooooooohhhhh dude, the memories. If there are kinds of boss battles that I like, then it's against enemies who are your size. THEN it feels like it's an even fight and the winner will be determined by the slightest difference in power. Always having to battle against giant monsters or even gods is empowering yes, but fighting against someone who is just as small compared to these higher beings as I am, I honestly don't know how to explain it but it always feels sooo much more rewarding to me.
The fact that Antasma's Theme from Mario and Luigi Dream Team isn't on here is despicable. He has one of the best villain themes of all time.
That being said, even without Antasma, this is a fantastic compilation.
