I absolutely love the style of these 1960s comic books and I think that there is nothing else that perfectly portrayed MF DOOM’s style. I truly can’t describe the type of music Doom put out and the level of mastery or I nfluences behind it but many of MF DOOM’s beats and underscores involve sampling classic recordings of instruments or the usage of very classical instruments and then remixed or modulated with other things to fit his style of rap. And you can see this in this 50s comic book aesthetic, they are old comic panels that are digitally morphed and moved to bring it to life whilst new added elements not only help change the original feel/story but also manages to beautifully fit in with its older influences
