Me as a Filipino٫ I wanted to make sure this wasn't fake like talk the other video I've seen. This IS real! The fact all these are all my mother says to me xD
"sige" is an expression that may also mean go ahead/sure/ fine/ all right It's from the Spanish word "sigue" ( meaning: follow) Eg. Kain tayo. (Let's eat.) Sige. (Okay) Pahiram nito. (Let me borrow this.) Sige. (Sure.)
For me,"Hala ka" means worrying someone or giving threat and maybe later will be blame the person has made a mistake from someone. Ex:Hala ka!Bakit mo kinuha ang pera ni Ana. Hala ka!Why did you take the money of Ana?! Haha..just my idea!
The Philippine alphabet has the same pronunciation as Portuguese from Brazil, it was a surprise to me, exception of the consonants H( there is no sound in our language) and R(The consonant r has the same sound as the consonant h in Filipino ). The consonants Ng and Ññ do not exist in our language.
Only quarter of the whole population speak Tagalog. When you go around the islands except Metro Manila and Central Luzon and most Northern part, they might not understand you at all due to the different regional cultures and different dialects scattered throughout the country. There are actually decent amount of Filipinos (Cebuano, Illongo, Ilokano etc.) in my group who like to learn Filipino. But these people know the language though not very well and they just want it to improve. Nevertheless, you don't have to worry about meeting people here because many people speak English, very friendly and would really love to help you.
This is a great set. Could be much more powerful well organized than drip and drab here and there. Dapat ang ayos...bawal ang magulo ha! Masyadong Mamat!

Naku is a word originally to mean "mother" inaku ,it shows close relationships with mothers in many ways is part of speech positively or negatively used.
@Liyxx (I’m learning Tagalog so correct me if I’m wrong anyone) but tayo also means “we.” Tayo = we; us; (inclusive, i.e., including people speaking and including people spoken to) So in the sentence, “Kanta tayo” I don’t think it’s a direct translation but it’ll mean that “we” or whatever group you are talking to should all sing.

Why does "sige" mean okay and alright?
"sige" is an expression that may also mean go ahead/sure/ fine/ all right
It's from the Spanish word "sigue" ( meaning: follow)
Eg.
