Family Portrait Photographers in Rochester Minnesota - Midwest LifeShots Photography

Every stage is precious and we love to capture them all. Many families working alongside MLSP as clients have been working with us for many years. We can truly see their families grow in front of our eyes (and lenses!). It is such an honor. We’re based in Rochester, Minnesota with both an indoor natural-light studio and shooting a large amount of our sessions on location in this and neighboring areas.
We are a small company, made up of a close-knit crew of fellow creatives who believe in thinking outside the box and obtaining moments vs poses (though don't worry, we get some of those as well) to capture raw emotion vs the staged portraiture you might see from many photographers. We’ll get those smiles from start to finish and a lot of goofy faces as well. Don’t worry about having the perfect aesthetic, just be you. We will take it from there.
Timeless and authentic editing on all images so in 20 years you aren’t telling your kids “yeah, at one point it was cool to have yellow filters on images”. So no need to worry about coloring being off. We’ll go for color accuracy! Look yourself. Be yourself. Let’s go.
