What is the reasoning to use the drive tool to drill a hole on centre? The turret moves back home for tool change, could save some time by using a closer tool index position. Why not make more of those parts from the billet instead of one per cycle?
What brand of turning center is that? Nice clean lines, same colors as my Okuma Howa machine. Looks nice. Charles

It is the turning center MTcut T32FSY by a company called MTRent from Austria.
@@12345NoNamesLeft Garant is a sub-brand of the Hoffmann Group and is the company that provides the door automation. Garant is not the machine producer/brand.
@@LukasistZorro Ok so they rent machines...neat idea. Also I think this video is out of the Garant technical center and that is why it has the Garant name on the machine. Seems that renting a machine for testing cutting tools would be a good way to go.
