This video showcases the opening ceremonies of 12 new district churches under the Association of Free Churches in Thailand (AFT). 11 of which took place last week. Seven of these churches are located in the province of Phetchabun and five in Nakorn Sawan province.
As of last week, every village in Phetchabun province now has a house church, and each district has a district church to foster and expand the house churches. This year, the AFT aims to finish reaching every village in Nakorn Sawan province with the Gospel and establish district churches in the remaining unreached districts.
This achievement is made possible by AFT’s dedicated team of volunteer church planters who are passionate about the Great Commission and reaching Thai people with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
They GO to every village in the district (Mark 1:38) and find “persons of peace” there. (Luke 10:6). Once found they return weekly to DISCIPLE them, enabling their growth from newborn children to mature Christians (Heb 6:1). As they are discipled, they learn about entering into a covenant relationship with Jesus and express a desire to be BAPTIZED (Col 2:9-15). We continue to TRAIN them, and many become church planters and leaders. (Eph 4:12)
This works because what the AFT does is Biblical and indigenously appropriate.
