In the genocide route ending Chara punishes you for killing everyone by erasing the timeline after if you do a pacifist (also known as soulless pacifist after doing genocide Chara takes your soul) you get 2 opinions in the end with Toriel either stay with her or “I have other places to go” Chara will remind you that you’re a bad person

So, I'm new to the Undertale Fandom and I'm guessing that UnderFell is the edgy version of Undertale? Everyone is freaking edgy and hot and are wearing red? Am I correct? Or no...
yesn't! Underfell is based on Flowey's motto in the original game of "Kill or be Killed". The original creator has given up ownership to the community so there are lots of variations, but the basic consensus is that Underfell's population compared to Undertale is quite low and everyone has at least some amount of LV. The whole "don't show kindness" kind of aspect branches off of the "kill or be killed" sentiment in terms of kindness being seen as something people can take advantage of and therefore being a weakness. Having weaknesses in a society like that is obviously not great, so more citizens try to appear like they have little sentiment for those around them to protect them. (EX. if Papyrus doesn't look like he cares about Sans, attacking Sans, who objectively has lower HP to get to Papyrus seems useless.) The edgy outfits are based/inspired by the original creator's designs of the characters, to answer the edgy part.
TL;DR:
underfell looks edgy from the original creator's designs, but since they gave up ownership anyone is free to do whatever. Underfell follows the idea of "Kill or be Killed", and therefore kindness and nice words seem like weaknesses and are avoided.
