You don't even need to do that. You can just land after the slam down and they'll still be in hit stun OTG. Just land and do the move and it'll still connect. Supers in this game are like one-frame startup so landing and doing the move incurs almost zero startup.
You can do a down 2, standing 2, Jump into 1, 2 then down 4. Charge in do a 1, 2, 3, Vanish switch characters then go into a string with whatever character you are switching too. For Gotenks I do a punch volley thing, spin thing and then spend 3 bars on the ultimate. I don’t use bars on the spin and volley punch thing.
You are able to follow up gohans machinegun kicks with a lv 2 of an ally but you'll have to input its half circle backwards and then the righ tag button. Prolly works only with allies that shoot their atk into the air like teen gohan can and ssgss vegeta and some others too
After the machine gun kick-teleport, gohan can catch the oponent with quarter circle back light punch (works better if not unleashed) and you have guaranteed super on the groud afterwards. Great for getting your potentiel unleashed without having to be in the corner
For Frieza [Crouching heavy -> R2 -> L -> L -> L -> Nova] actually does more damage than the one you showed (by 150) and it is WAY easier to do for a newb. It has some auto features, but it works.
Hey Ventus, I'm playing DBFZ with my bro and he just did the goku gt combo 9 and its the move your on about with adult gohan for the family kamehameha. Just input down after a down circle move in the air it looks like with goku gt anyway.
Need to try hit again. Hit’s attack where he slices an enemy by pressing the light attack and a direction is good for an enemy in the air. Send an enemy flying, use that attack in air, bringing them down. Into another combo and end with super or ultimate. Easily get 70-80 combo with close to 7000 damage

Dumb question but I've seen videos of people in mid air fing combos and kick them higher then quickly dash back up in the air to continue a combo. HOW do I do that please.

Hey Ventus I've been trying to do this most "basic" combo as instructed and I can never get the second air medium to hit.... I have issues with my hands having a disability so for me hitting up and forward is much easier via the analog stick but I can never get the timing right.... any suggestions? The D pad can feel very clunky at times with those diagonal cancels.
the game is very accessible in terms of a fighting game and that means a lot coming from someone with less than perfect coordination but the button inputs for all these games must be done incredibly fast
Matt dont sweat it if you re having trouble. I myself have problems doing things is this game as well. It frustrates me to no end. The only advice I can give is to take what you can from it and run with it. I see combos all the time that I try for hours to do and no matter how hard I try, I just cant get it, so I take a part of it that i can do and make it work some kind of way.
Man that up and forward tap has to be so quick ugh. I can get it sometimes but the speed of everything can be so insane. How people pull these off consistently online is beyond me. Esp if the players framerate is lower than expected. Glad I am not the only one who cant do this.
you make a long air combo by doing this: c.m > m > j.L > m > j.l > m >down h > follow him> L > m > what ever your character can do after air m. good luck :D
i keep seeing combos where after the first heavy knockup in air, L,M,H knockup for a second time into a jump cancel light medium and so on, i cant get it down
bungi fish sure. So like super common way to do it is. 2M > 5M > jump forward > now you can air juggle. If you're confused on the numbers it's number pad notation. 2 is down, 4 is back, 6 is forward, 8 is up, 1 is down back, 5 is neutral, etc
actually not at all man. when you do a 5M you can buffer a jump and not worry about the timing at all. so while 5M is happening you can preemptively hold diagonal up and you'll jump at the first possible moment. (this doesn't work for while you're in the air though you have to time your double jump ;) but yeah no prob dude happy to help
ClickDecision ahh I see, but I use D-pad which is tricky. But I will get used to it, also I figured out that you can do forward-up instead of up-forward which felt way easier to do for me.
The reason he said level 4 is because right before he goes into the 3 bar super, the fierce god kick that he does is the heavy version of the move which uses up 1 bar of meter.
A lot of the community uses the number pad notations for directional input though, so the 1234 could be confusing too. Just use L, M, H, and S, that's universal.

To do a manual air dash after a 2H, you just hit H again. It automatically follows. You don't need to hit any R1's or R2's or whatever you put it as.

With Goku Black you can do L, M, L, d.j, L, M, L as your standard bnb. You're only hitting your opponent 4 times while the optimal standard bnb is 6.

This was a basic video to help kids who were only pressing square. Why do u have to be a dick? But please see my actual combo videos if u need more.
