Its 2020 it would be very interesting to see where they are now and all the ups and downs etc. If my wife said yes to living of the grid I would be gone so fast I wouldn't see a city lights in the rearview mirror ...…
Nice video! How I wish I could live in a place like that. Not that I can really complain since I have my own micro-farm/wildlife habitat/food forest in 1/3 acre in the middle of a small town.
@@rosslocincam9916 You must mean sister. I live in the US, and in a part that can reach -25 F (-35.6667 C) and even lower. But it keeps unwanted people out. The last thing we are is temperate, lol.
@@carmenortiz5294 Hi Carmen, I wonder how us latins get around in such cold! I've studied 2 years in England and HATED It! Hahaha Saludos desde Brasil ❤️
@@tuicastro4431 I live here because only crazy people would move here in case a huge disaster happens. lol. Not sharing my food with a few million people looking for food.
These guys were so focussed on their kids, compare this to a hard working couple who see their kids early and late. Different strokes for different folks for sure no worries there, but I do wonder just how good the paid for ( government supplied included) range of child care and education is when compared with the outstanding education these kids get. I am grateful i live in a world where we are free to choose either way,,,or both ways haaha.
Loved watching this. What a beautiful family. ❤ From Hawkes Bay, NZ
Just spent an amazing weekend with this whanau. It's a lot different now to what this video shows. Such a beautiful vibe there

Thank you for sharing your story :)
I wish I could afford to own land, I am going bush. It will be hard, but I have good bushcraft skills and knowledge.
Great man there, keeping it real.

The idea of "Freedom" wow, how pertinent is that in mid 2020 New Zealand!
And now? In 2022 lol, it's all but gone. Scary how readily people give it up...
