@@LockedinCycling i used this clear protective enamel, waited for it to dry, then went over it with a ceramic spray (meant for cars) ive had the same bike for almost 9 years and it still looks brand new, ive replaced things like tires, chains, gear cables, but the bike looks like it just rolled off the line!

Awesome video! It's so nice to watch a cycling video that is detailed enough without being boring or putting in meaningless detail. I have a similar paint job as you on my bike which is why I want to protect it! Thanks!

Just finished and took me slightly over 3 hours total. This process was much easier than expected as long as you take your time. I can barely feel the seam on the top tube and down tube. The bubbles continue to work their way out as the film dries more. Excited to put my Kai Venture bags back on with the added protection!

If you still have bubbles, after its dried for 24 hours, pop them with a fine sewing needle, and apply a bit of heat.

Thomas Frishi's shop in Switzerland has all his World Champs winning Ritchey bikes
And several Ritchey road bikes he uses for commuting
I was admiring them then realised he had totally covered them in heli tape, so well that you could not tell, even very close up - I had to feel the join under the top tube before I was sure.
Then I looked around and saw Frishi behind me watching. Cool guy, talked ages about everything bike related.
Got home and bought an 86 Ritchey bike based on that, great bikes
