Excellent commentary again, you really do identify the causes of high house prices and solutions to the problem better than any other youtuber. And agree, cutting interest rates will make things worse.

It's fascinating and tragic that you can copy/paste a lot of these issues to many other Western countries. Add common shared issues such as healthcare, education, crime... Things are really going in the wrong direction and this time the issue is bigger than just a political direction.

Abolish real estate agencies, there is no need for intermediaries with their greed ideologies and intermediate fees.

Yes, house prices have risen.... But they're still affordable, if the younger generation cut back on all their other expenses such as monthly phone contracts, annual phone upgrades, designer clothes bags etc, foreign holidays twice a year, car loans, credit cards to fund all this crp, earing out, fast foods, takeaways - oh, and not devoting their social time to study, training and their jobs thereby improving their career prospects and chances of higher salaries and better pay rises.... Or is all this too much for their mental elf?

Ignorant comment. Vast swathes of young people do not fit this free-spending, live-for-today caricature - put down the daily mail. House prices are not affordable. Within an inflationary market with insuffcient supply, house prices increase over time at a pace which far outstrips the earnings of even those in lucrative fields. This would mean little to those who already live a home with its mortgage paid off in full. So, how much did your house cost?

@@A-se2ur my house cost me 25yrs of working hard (6 days a week) in roles that didn't always suit my social life and hobbies, and lots of saving, saving, sacrifice, doing without - and saving, and paying off a mortgage as my first priority (rather than my 5th or 6th)
I've been there done it, and didn't ask for a medal or likes from anyone.... Experience beats ignorance everytime....why not try it yourself?

@@A-se2ur you're the generation that, in just a few years from now, are going to fight WW3...... I think you've all got more important things to worry about than this - good luck 🤞
