This was my first Deftones song I had ever heard, and what a perfect song to ease me into the beautiful intensity that is the sound of Deftones.
If I’m being perfectly honest, I saw this video advertised with the images of the Owl, and was intrigued enough to be like “hmm what’s this?”.
Little did I know I was about to discover one of my most favorite Rock bands ever.

This song caught me off guard on the radio last night driving home. I have bought every Deftone cd since they came out but i've been hoping for heavier songs for 2 albums now. This song came on the radio and i blasted it, it gave me goosebumps and my eyes watered a little bit. Deftones are back, can't wait to see them live again.

When you mix a moment of anger and loss, this is a go-to song for me. It just has that feeling where you want to cry and punch a hole in the wall.
Years ago, Saints Row: The Third introduced me to the Defttones when my adopted brother demonstated for me the game's music. Witting very little, I later found out more about their albums online getting hooked on owning them since then. Playing the Remastered calls back up the nostalgia to replay the flashback again when I first asked him who they were with such an entrancing, moving music.
I've already known of this band from watching dbz😅 but yea i remember playing saints row while listening to this song.

I was looking for this song for almost a decade now!!! I used to listen to this along with Closure (Chevelle) and Schism (Ameritz) on my phone but it didn't upload along with the rest when I was switching devices at some point so going all this time without that 1 missing piece has been a mental itch I just couldn't scratch! For some reason all I could remember was the melody and "coffin shakes" followed by "needle breaks" from the lyrics and none of the lyric search sites could find it off of just that until now.

This is exactly what I love about their music; it's so powerful and surreal that listening to it feels like you're in a different dimension, floating in a strange ocean with the sound waves rocking your body... Beautiful - that's what the chorus is full of.

Deftones sucks live and this comes from a groupal opinion not just me... i saw them last week and the singer can't sing shit, in the other hand a7x was a great show live, really waaay more complex than deftones in every aspect, Synster Gates is a beast guitar player even Zack Wylde said he is holding the "guitar heroes torch" way better than the deftones one, m shadows does some badass vocals, and The Rev was a beast drummer one of the best metal drumers ever. and as a whole they make beast music, I'd like to see deftones successfully cover Danger Line for example,they wouldn't be able to play those guitar lines or M shadow attitude.
