Thanks For Watching!
I like the American crossings especially the loud clanging bell wish we had them over here
I like the safetran bells better than the mechanical federal signal ones.
Nah British are better
British crossings are s a f e r, r e l i a b l e and c o m p a c t.
I really live in North America but im a fan of british level crossings
Cool 👍
*Excellent video! All the best from Vietnam. Support you!*
Thank you very much! 😁
Just another great video! And to top it off you can hear me telling Joe I couldn't hear the dodgy alarm at the very end :p. These alarms aren't absolutely blaring, so I wouldn't put 'loud alarms' in the title personally but I respect you might want to 👍😎
That is good friend
@South East Level Crossings Channel Thanks! 😎 Yeah you could just hear that faulty alarm over the one I was standing under. Might go back to film the other side again. Most rural AHB crossings have ostensibly quiet alarms so to me, I think the ones here are quite loud.
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel Makes sense. Kenardington's alarms are even louder as we found out not too long after! Sudbrook's also fairly rural and those alarms are absolutely blaring!
Btw: No heart on my coment again? 😶😶😂😎
😁
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel Better late than never 😂😂😂😂
The barriers look very short compared to the other half crossings. Maybeeeeee...
Yeah, the barriers here are quite short! 😎
I find the sound of a digital alarm horn with a crossing gate intriguing being used to the typical bell sound we have here in the States
Yeah, the UK has electronic alarms, most of which have different sounds and volumes. It's quite cool because it makes each crossing unique in a way 😊
Great video!
Thanks! 😎
Very interesting railroad crossing.
👍
Very nice! Liked 👍👍👍
Thanks! 😀
Great video
Thanks 😁
Wait.... the alarm stops when down? Very strange for an AHB.
It's a design feature that was more common on these crossings back in the 1980s. There's still a few crossings that do this but with the majority of these crossings, the alarms continue sounding throughout.
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel Ok.
Loud and nice alarms
👍
Can you perhaps go to Richborough level crossing
UK Level Crossings Channel has been to Richborough Level Crossing: th-cam.com/video/gUzGxIEtliI/w-d-xo.html 👍
@Wills vlogs and trains I have already filmed there once. I'm not sure I'll be re-visiting it though as I have other new places to visit 😉
Those alarms suit uk crossings, but if they were implemented in holland, Id rather jump from a building! XD
Lol - the alarms in Holland sound all the same so I'd find them quite boring 🤔
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel listen more carefull then! Some sound higher and louder some are normal, and quiet!
Sounds like Newrath in Kilkenny
Its near Plunkett Station in Waterford and the Goulding Fertiliser Factory which also has a level crossing.
Ah yes, the crossing at Goulding is one of my favourites in Ireland 😁
Its my favourite aswell
How come alarm stop when barriers down
Some half barrier crossings have alarms that switch off when the barriers are down. Usually these crossings are rural on quiet roads.

It's quite far away but I'll consider it in the future
