    I grew up on the washing machines you had to feed the clothes thru the roller to squeeze out the water in 1960’s. Cool finds, so happy you are cleaning up your waters, these things should never have been in there in first place, so sad so many people had no regard to the future of their children as these are adults destroying the water that we will be so desperate for in the near future. Don’t know who is worse the USA, Amsterdam or UK people that think the water is their personal dump, scrap yards have been around as long as the items you are finding, no excuse for this. Hope the horseshoes brings you both great luck, your videos are really enjoyable. Thanks again fo4 cleaning the water for our children, grandchildren. Is there an antique car in that water, the parts you are finding?

    • @thefindingfamily
      @thefindingfamily  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      On the flip side of things, the metal in the water can tell a story about the city's long history, and I do enjoy learning about it... ultimately you are absolutely correct

    You could take the material off from underneath there’s little taks you just pull out … and replaced the foam and replace the material back on top of it but it must be leather… leather is always the best material cushions… takes on smell stain sometime little bugs stay with the leather… I can’t wait to see you restore that chair. The ringer washing machines were used up until about the middle 50's or so. I clearly remember using one with my mom as a little kid. We had to be careful of the plug and the water being rung out of the clothes and the electric motor getting wet as well. It did a great job but, way too many things to watch out for, and try to keep dry at the same time!!!

    That throttle thing might actually be an old wheel from maybe a old covered wagon or very old antique car . I believe the part sticking up is the last remaing tire spoke on it . I would look at in an antique store for the old ringer washer with the movable wringer head that had the rollers in it that you would run the wet clothes through the wringers to get as much water out of the washed clothes before hanging them out on clothes line to dry. Washer part had a big round lid on them maybe back in 1920 ,s or so.

      They both grew up in Wisconsin, have the accents for that area. They kinda sound like Chris Farley, I wonder why ?

    Siri where is restorable just remove the tax replace the cushion inside and put leather on top and another thing you should have the stool facing on the outside dripping on the outside instead of inside the boat that’s going to make the boat stink like hell that’s it. That’s all trying for a brewski.😀🍺

    Stop bragging about the massive size of your magnet. It makes us guys with smaller magnets feel inadequate.

    That roller that you found is too long for a washing machine should be at least 4 to 5 inches shorter and you gotta have two of them touching each other. This is where you put the closest to the squeeze the water out. Just thought to HELP.😁😁🩶
    You found that piece of wood with a copper wrapped around it constantly quite a few feet of copper on that that’s the best way to keep strings of copper that’s how I keep most of my wire and copper wrapped around something similar to that, especially for shoemakers do usually use something like that to keep their large string, heavy duty string for repairs
    Just got to help❤😊 okey-dokey😁♥️
    Tyler did find a soap tray. He screw it against the wall in the bathroom. That is so old wow wow that is actually porcelain. Good fine Tyler. 👍🏼

    The seat of the stool should be sticking out of the boat. It’s leaking inside the boat on top of the carpet that’s really gonna smell later. I wish you were an able to beat you right away and mention this anyways, I left you comment earlier how to take all that off and how to repair it I do it all the time, but it must be leather chair nice looking stool though paint those legs black shine you got yourself a stool for the garage. Don’t forget to hang up one of your horse shoes for luck in the garage. Brings luck to the garage in the house okey-dokey Snapple..🍺🤜🏼🩵💐❗️❗️👍🏼
