      Everybody talks about this. Okay ya sure Lebron had to face the warriors they're stopping him from getting rings. I may understand once they got KD it's impossible to beat GS in a 7 game series. So Lebron has been robbed of rings 2 times so far. Lebron's team beat the warriors that went 73-9 for the title. So obviously the year before when GS had 3 all stars against the Cavs 3 all stars Lebron could have won that series. Now let's talk about the other 5 finals Lebron James has been in. 3 of them Lebron had to face the Spurs which in 2007, Spurs swept the Cavs, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Ginobili were still in their primes, but were starting to wear down through the years they played. Then Lebron beat them in 2013 with help from Ray Allen who hit one of the most clutch shots in NBA history to push it to 7 games. Then they lose to that exact same San Antonio team the next season in 5 games. The other 2 finals Lebron beat the OKC thunder. Props to him. But when Lebron went up against the 2011 Mavs that had just ONE all star (Dirk Nowitzki) against his 3 on the Heat? What the hell happened? Dirk lead the Mavs to a championship over the Heat in 6 games with a starting 5 of an OLD Jason Kidd, JJ Barea, Shawn Marion, Dirk, and Tyson Chandler. This is why Lebron ain't no GOAT.

      This narrative to push and compare lebron to jordan is getting annoying. Like every single year, the media keeps talking about this even after lebron keeps on loosing to the finals. Especially in the last finals where he gave up on game 1 and game 4 which led to a sweep. That performance made Charles barkley say that he will puch somebody in the mouth if that somebody is gonna say lebron is better than mj.

    • @peterstark4562
      @peterstark4562 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @LeGoat James seriously? Did u know when MJ played point guard he averaged a triple double? Did he not make the right play when he set up steve kerr for a WIDE OPEN 3 pt shot in a finals game? Did he not set up bill wennington for a WIDE OPEN game winning dunk in a game dubbed as "double nickel game". You probably just watched his scoring highlights then if you think he lacks passing and playmaking skills. Kyrie's clutch shot was all himself, Ray allen's clutch shot was from chris bosh offensive rebound from LBJ's miss.

How about now? Jordan would've averaged 60 pts on todays NBA. Now, this is a rhetorical question would lebron be the same player now if we bring back the Old rules or Lebron won't be able to Flop as refs during the old days won't call a FOUL without seeing blood literally... ;)

      Daniel Harper by higher ceiling I mean his ultimate talent level and athleticism is higher than that of MJs in my opinion, but LeBron doesn’t have the mentality that MJ had. That win no matter what assassins mentality and that’s what makes MJ more of a goat than LeBron. MJ seemingly applied his abilities all the time and not just some of the time. That somewhat applies to today’s basketball in general. Guys these days are more athletic and continue to be more and more athletic, they’re just softer, much softer.

    For the sake of argument, let's say that LeBron James goes on to win 7 N.B.A championship titles, 6 regular season MVPs, 7 finals MVPs and miraculously given his age 2 Defensive player of the Year awards before he retires. From a purely statistical stand-point that would put him ahead of M.J. but he would still fall short to match M.J’s 10 scoring titles.
    If Basket-ball was a software program well M.J. added a huge piece to the source Code. Meaning that his personal contributions to the development of modern Basket-ball in terms of technical skills, execution, finesse, creativity, signature unguardable moves, offensive and defensive IQ and approaches of the perimeter game are just unmatched. No other professional player in the last 50 years as brought as much novelty and excitement to the game and inspired generations of players like he has. 🐐🔒

      Who could guard Lebron? I see some people says Jordan.. some say Pippen.. sure they both good. Who would guard Lebron and keep him in check? Kukoc. Put Lebron on the Warriors with the best Warriors team out there.. they still wouldn't have beat the bulls. Harper locks up Klay. Jordan Locks up Steph. Pippen Locks up Durant. Kukoc slows down James.. Rodman utterly DESTROYS Draymond, and anyone dumb enough to try to come to the hole. Now, on the flip side.. who stops Jordan from scoring? James? He's an average to, slightly above average defender. That's not holding down MJ. No one else on that Warriors team plays good enough defense to lock down Jordan. That's not even counting Scottie.

      His legacy won't be better, Lebron's legacy is not looking very good anyway, making the finals is not a great accomplishment when talking about being the greatest of all time, these clowns working for the media network are just looking for topic to talk about. 7 straight finals is quite the achievement for sure but it's not an argument you can use in a GOAT debate.
      Imagine telling someone Lebron is the GOAT because he lost finals. (making to the finals and not winning)
      So no, media won't do the same for Kobe because media for some reason hate Kobe.

    "How do you Guard Lebron James?" Ask the 2010-2011 Dallas Mavs they could write a whole book on it..

      @@JacksonDansel Yea true haha.. As A MIami heat fan I used to think Lebron just quit on us because he was leaving anyway. which he may have quit but Kawhi had Lebron on lock. haha I remember that finals I could not believe what I was watching but after seeing this dude have a problem with a Zone Defense in 2011 then It should not have surprised me.
