  • in this video, I dive into the different try amps and challenges of long-term sobriety, I also share some experience strength and hope to give some wisdom on mindsets to have as well as spiritual ways to deal with these challenges.
I strongly encourage anyone who is just starting out to take it easy on yourself and love yourself. We are all learning humans and just trying our best, so the fact that you get up every day and try your best is enough.
A higher power is always there for you, even when no one else’s, there are many loving people as well as good positive situations that are on your horizon and I know you are right there, so just hold on, and at the same time, let go, a breath of fresh air is right on the other side.

what a great video Jake, Thank you for sharing. I am in long term recovery as well and work in a treatment center and have to turn to videos at times to help me but also to help others understand the basic principles of the recovery process. You talking about the "highs and lows" of recovery is so true and just in your face the truth.. Thank you..

Definitely. you are on point. I am sorry to hear you are dealing with your husbands addiction. It really is like a tornado ripping through the relationship. I had to deal with the same thing and am still dealing with it with my childs mother. (now ex). Stay strong and centered in God. You can make it through. Thank you for sharing.

Really enjoyed your video man! I am looking forward to the new real highs and real lows coming in my future. I myself have not fallen into the trap of everyday drinking but I used to binge drink very hard with friends and have blackouts. After watching a talk from andrew huberman about what alcohol does to my body and my mind I was shocked. I havent had a drop since. Its been more than a month now and my mood is improving and my body is getting stronger. I am very interested in living a more spiritual existence also. Thanks for doing what you are doing man. Will follow along your journey

thank you for watching. im glad that was enough to change your mind ! i have been on this journey for close to 10 years now, and long term sobriety really does get better and better. It brings up many deep issues and feelings, and if you can continue a spiritual way of like through it all… the results are amazing inner peace and clarity.

I'm hoping soon my husband will have beautiful testimony......we're we can grow together....as I don't know how to deal with it.
I want a dynamic change I want him to show up in our marriage do things with me sober ....he just stopped showing up the more the addiction took hold ....
it's terrible and I did not understand I'm starting to understand.
    not easy work.
