I’m so glad everything went well and your eyesight is perfect now! On your first PRK video I expressed my anxiousness on my upcoming PRK surgery and you were very encouraging. I’m 3 months post op and am also seeing 20/15!! Definitely one of the best decisions I’ve made. Thank you for posting these videos and being so encouraging! ❤️

You made this video way to long, you could have given a description a lot shorter to get the information out. When you received the correction, what was the process, how long was recovery and how are your eyes now. Do you have to do any surgery after this or is it permanent? The End!

  • @blind_warriorr

I had PRK and it destroyed my vision. It was the worse decision I ever made and it destroyed my life and has destroyed the lives of so many others. I didn’t develop any vision issues until about a year after the surgery. You may be fine now but you can develop vision issues and/or severe eye pain years after the surgery. You are also more prone to all sorts of things like corneal ectasia, detached retinas, early onset cataracts, etc. Even if you don’t develop noticeable symptoms, your eyes are still damaged structurally. The cornea was never meant to be cut open. I wish every single day I could go back and not have it and be able to have perfect vison with glasses and soft contact lenses again. Unfortunately, I can’t go back in time but at least I can warn others about how dangerous these procedures are so maybe they won’t have to suffer like me. Please do not promote these horribly dangerous and completey unecessary procedures. All you’re doing is potentially hurting others by encouraging them to go through with it.

10 days ago I got PRK and everything was going well and my sight was improving in both eyes. A week after I went back and got the contacts removed. My left eye the vision is almost perfect now. The right eye the night they took the contact out felt like sand was in it, it wattered, was hard to open and got blurry. It's been really blurry for the past three days with no improvement. It's almost as bad as before the surgery. What is going on and will it fix itself?

This is completely normal. What I don’t get is why most surgeons don’t tell you that this could go, on in the worst case for about half a year. At least if they would have told you this, you would be prepared. My surgeon (thank god) told me that this is possible he said that I would have good days where I would have perfect sight as well as bad days where I would see blurry as hell. Since the Epithelium is removed completely with the PRK surgery you have to give your eyes some time (as I said above might as well be half a year) to heal and to recover what has been done. Just be patient and get well soon!
