I am working part time in a Fast Food Restaurant and let me tell you that crap is really annoying. People throwing everything on the ground ( Accident or just bad manners or they do not know how to eat properly) making the tables VERY dirty. Cleaning that up takes time which you often do not have. I remember when one Coworker lectured the Customer. There were trays on the table and the customer just put them on the floor and left them there to put his food on the table. The Coworker said" Do you behave that way at home aswell?" She got all red and embarassed. ( she should have brought them to the worker or atleast called him to get them) Worst are however families with little kids. Thoriwng everything on the ground ( Hey maybe you should not give the kid all fries or the cup of Cola when he does not know how to hold it properly...) And then they just leave their tables all messed up. Seriously how is your kid supposed to learn etiquette that way? How Freaking HARD is it to bring your tray to the tray trolley. It helps a LOT! So in other words: Rocco and especially Derrick, really like you guys but your point of view is messed up. Shawn is the only one who understands our pain QQ ( and Garret i guess)
Rocco and Derrick sometimes give you that "first world privilege" bullshit that I'm just disgusted with. Shawn as well but I'm surprised he's not on the same team as they are in this one. Just because it's called hospitality, doesnt mean you has the right to make the job harder for the worker, assholes. The only guy I always pretty much agree with is only Garrett, that's why he's the best. Yea sometimes I like these guys but goddamn, have some restraint.
I finished RE7 yesterday. I didn't find it nearly as scary as say, the Silent Hill games, but it did have me pretty spooked at time. (Mind you, I didn't play in VR. REALLY want to sometime) I thought it was a great return to form, but in a way that was surprisingly fresh. Fantastic game imo!
I like the guys responding to the comments, but it feels like one of those things that can only be done once in a while because now the comments are going to try and solicit a response. Tainted.
Possibly, but I think the guys are smart enough to figure out what comments will make for good reading or not. It's like when they take callers and will just hang up on people if they don't have their shit together. Plus they read the e-mails too and there is a probably a bunch of those that get skipped. So some people may be a bit more 'hey notice me!' in the comments but I'm sure the guys can figure out which ones are and aren't worth reading.
I hope they do Return Fire every week. It'll keep people from either posting something stupid or just let people get called out with their foot in their mouth. Also hi Garrett!
Mega64 should play Dungeons and Dragons! They would be so entertaining to watch! They like improv, nerd culture, and we could see how they really work as a team! I have the party invisioned in my head already. Rocco- Barbarian because that gauntlet video Shawn- He would be the LG paladin (dad) Eric- Obviously a Monk that would be stylized as a wrestler Derrick- The Bard Kevin- Not sure, probably a rogue Garrett- He would be the Warlock
I really enjoyed the collaboration that Derrick did with Achievement Hunter. I feel like that would be a good way to build a larger subscriber base. However, I do enjoy Oney Cartoons quite a lot and would be interested to see what a collab between Mega64 and Oney Cartoons would look like.
When Shaun was talking about saying ironically, ironically, the same thing happened to me with hell yes. Started as a joke, and now I say HELLLLLLLLL YESSSSSSS way to often.
I used to be on Shawn's side when it comes to cleaning up if you make a mess in a public place, but Rocco and Derrick made a good point. I don't have the tools to mop up the soda I spilled. And I used to look down on people who left their trash in movie theaters, but now I do it all the time. Yeah, the garbage is on the way out, but why should I feel bad for leaving my trash there? It's not like I spilled my popcorn all over the aisle just to be an asshole. I left my cup in the cup holder and the popcorn bucket on the arm rest with my napkins and other wrappers placed inside. It's not that inconvenient, it IS their job. I worked at a retailer and we had to pick up and rehang the pile of clothes left on the floor. It's annoying, yeah, but it was in my job description.
>Derrick wanting a million subs this year I've been with you guys for like decade, but this seems impossible to do in one year? I feel like he thought they were closer to a million than they are and just tried to remedy the situation
I still think you guys should collab with Rooster Teeth or even just Funhaus since they have a more adult audience for the most part, I know the last collaboration videos with RT didnt do the best but RT is how I found you guys and im sure im not alone
I think a collab with h3h3 productions or idubbbz would be cool. They're both in California so that helps. You guys deserve so much more subs for how long you've been around doing great things.
I think books are still able to be the scariest. It uses your whole mind to freak you out. Astral horror stuff gets me more than the new RE game, as scary as it is.
I might say stories are unsettling or creepy ( The Jaunt and Enigma of Amigara Fault come to mind), but they don't get my heart pounding in the way a video game or movie could.
I still think as of right now nothing is scarier than a first person horror game with the lights off and you start getting immersed and you start feeling like thats you, some scary shit happens or youre in a situation close to dying which will set you back 10 or 15 minutes it gets you into it
11:25 you can't "conquer" it, that's just plain wrong. I mean you can, but that's the wrong way to experience a game like that. Unfortunately I played Dead Space 2 like that, and the game turned up to be flat out boring. "I'm in a creepy hallway, they're gonna throw some man eating monsters at me along with some loud creepy music, I'll gonna kill them all, rinse, repeat" ... boring. You have to let yourself be afraid, or else it's nothing more than a speedrun where the only object is to finish the game fast. In order to experience it fully, you need to be frightened that you might die and be panicked when you're close to death. Resident Evil 1 to 3 (not Veronica) did that for me. They rest were more action oriented so they don't as much frighten you, as they would startle you at times. But yeah, don't play games wrongfully guys, you kinda waste the experience and your time.
Really enjoyed each and every one of your guy's thoughts on Resident Evil 7 and on the controversial topic of VR being used on triple AAA games despite others saying it's tacky, but what is your guy's thoughts on RE2 REMAKE?
hahaha just realized theres a huge side story in the first waiting movie about not being able to piss in the urinal that comes back in the 2nd haha i watched those ahha i liked them aha
Huh well I have a question. What if one of the mega64 guys took a shit on the wall of the studio restroom, which one of them would have to clean it up?
everyone should carry a gun, that way you see a mouse it dead (its gonna take a background check and 2 weeks to get your deadly BB assult gun, also you need a small game license to set mouse traps in CA
i see where derrick is coming from, but how could resident evil 7 be the scariest thing ever made if several movies (such as jaws and alien) have literally made people vomit
take a shot of Kickapoo whenever Rocco says "uh"
"real quick"
"Quick Question"
+Da Brown
he always says that so high-pitched
Do you want me to get diabetes?
D4rdar Ted...Orraberry?

The way Shawn said 'Hello' reminded me more of that Nigerian guy on the phone that Rocco talked about several podcasts ago. 'Hell-ooooh!"
GOOd BYE?
HALOO
I'd love to see Mega64 on Red Letter Media's Best of the Worst. It's a perfect fit.

I thought it was a great return to form, but in a way that was surprisingly fresh. Fantastic game imo!
i hope eric will play the return fire intro as often as he plays the is it racist intro

Not if they continually ignore the shitty ones. Fans'll get the message and try to contribute to the discussion.
I doubt it, I don't think I brought up anything particularly insightful.
Oh, the guy who said "Midna is the hottest Nintendo character" didn't have a good comment? :p
Diggin that sweet Disney American Adventure reference in the Fire Back intro.
there's something about Rocco kicking that fucking kills me
his best kick is his GDC commercial #3 video
My favorite is the one he did in his ANDREW E3 thing
It's a woman's right to unsub her child.

Mega64 should play Dungeons and Dragons! They would be so entertaining to watch! They like improv, nerd culture, and we could see how they really work as a team! I have the party invisioned in my head already.
Rocco- Barbarian because that gauntlet video
Shawn- He would be the LG paladin (dad)
Eric- Obviously a Monk that would be stylized as a wrestler
Derrick- The Bard
Kevin- Not sure, probably a rogue
Garrett- He would be the Warlock
collabing with did you know gaming would be a really easy plug
Colab with Red Letter Media. They live in Milwaukee, but you guys have a lot of carryover.
Rocco laughing about "unsubbing my child" was killing me.
Where's Derrick? I heard his voice but I didn't see him?
I really enjoyed the collaboration that Derrick did with Achievement Hunter. I feel like that would be a good way to build a larger subscriber base. However, I do enjoy Oney Cartoons quite a lot and would be interested to see what a collab between Mega64 and Oney Cartoons would look like.
I press like on pretty much every podcast but this was the earliest I've done so. Good opening
Could someone tell me what the theme song is, or where to get it? Thanks fam.
Mega64 got my free amazon prime twitch sub. You guys are the best!
Mega64 should do a video with Game Grumps. It's been done before, but not in a Mega64 video. Git those Granks.
One of my favorite intros ever lmao
Collab with Sam Hyde!!! Mega 64 X MDE
These guys are hardcore California Libtards. They're not going near the Hyde.
Didn't they just make a video jabbing buzzfeed?
mega64 and sam hyde have been dear friends for years
@4:24 is Shawn calling out Rocco with this "big guy" comment?
"I got a wall you can shit on."
-Garrett 2017

H3H3 collab would be amazing
what's the intro song?
Joe Webb Sam Spiegel & Ape Drums - Mutant Brain
Mega64 X MDE collab plz, Sam's already mentioned he digs you guys.
Does anyone know where to find that intro song
Who are they talking about? There was a weird cut, and all I heard was Taylor at 50:40
When Shaun was talking about saying ironically, ironically, the same thing happened to me with hell yes. Started as a joke, and now I say HELLLLLLLLL YESSSSSSS way to often.
Rocco and Harley Morenstein from Epic Meal Time need to do a video about figure collecting. Harley is a huge figure collector too.
Could maybe colab with Funahus?
I used to be on Shawn's side when it comes to cleaning up if you make a mess in a public place, but Rocco and Derrick made a good point. I don't have the tools to mop up the soda I spilled. Rocco goes into some fucking life or death stasis whenever he encounters a small creature.
ex: The Cockroach trilogy.
one million lets fucking go! I'm with you Derrick
>Derrick wanting a million subs this year
I've been with you guys for like decade, but this seems impossible to do in one year?
I feel like he thought they were closer to a million than they are and just tried to remedy the situation
I still think you guys should collab with Rooster Teeth or even just Funhaus since they have a more adult audience for the most part, I know the last collaboration videos with RT didnt do the best but RT is how I found you guys and im sure im not alone
What's the intro song
I have watched days of the podcast, and I have no regrets.
I feel like oney and/or stamper would mesh with you guys pretty well.
Beautiful ending.
Opening up with some Dad rage! Fucking hilarious!
Almost at 400'00 c'mon guy Road to 1 Million
Funhaus seriously has said multiple times that they wanted to collaborate with Mega 64. Which would be awesome....
I think a collab with h3h3 productions or idubbbz would be cool. They're both in California so that helps. You guys deserve so much more subs for how long you've been around doing great things.
Rocco's Postal Service shirt tho
No after hour for this broadcast ??

Collabs:
dunkey, Oneyplays, Psychicpebbles "Shmucks" podcast

Million subs here we go
Such a fun time this one.

that was a cool intro. good job derrick
King Zora is obviously the hottest nintendo character
MOUSECAST
To be honest, I didn't think RE7 was that scary without VR. Outlast was definitely scarier.
As soon as you give me a gun in a video game, I'm not scared anymore.
MrMultiGamer Try playing Silent Hill 3 then.
holy fuck that new intro
i realize that may sound like im saying fuck that intro im saying holy fuck that intro is great ive been watching live

Hey make the 'Return Fire' a show outside of the podcast and if you do that I gaurentee 9 million subs
You should collab with The Know. They're fans of yours.

just realized theres a huge side story in the first waiting movie about not being able to piss in the urinal that comes back in the 2nd

Such a good episode!!!
Huh well I have a question. What if one of the mega64 guys took a shit on the wall of the studio restroom, which one of them would have to clean it up?
Great ending Shawn. Bravo.
55:20 The Movies Game!
happy year of luigi
everyone should carry a gun, that way you see a mouse it dead (its gonna take a background check and 2 weeks to get your deadly BB assult gun, also you need a small game license to set mouse traps in CA
Yeah the theatres only recently realized they actually had to tell people to clean up their shit.
i see where derrick is coming from, but how could resident evil 7 be the scariest thing ever made if several movies (such as jaws and alien) have literally made people vomit
collab with LINUS TECH TIPS!!! lol
