- Louisville's Centennial Festival of Riverboats celebrates the 100th birthday of the Belle of Louisville. Lots of fun - historical demonstrations, people in period costumes, and of course, a calliope serenade! The Belle was joined by the Spirit of Peoria, the Belle of Cincinnati, the River Queen (a different boat than the large one I remember) and the Spirit of Jefferson.
