And even if Jeff did suggest it, he didn’t ask to be almost killed with an excavator. David, as a huge fan of jeff as well I 100% agree with this guy. Jeff may come off as a tougher guy than what you may be used to but he was also brought up in a crazy environment in staten island where loyalty is engraved into your soul when it comes to your friends. The best thing to do would be to talk to jeff, keep hitting him up and telling him your feelings and that you want to check up on his surgeries, you want to pay for everything and its the least you can do for everything thats happened to him. You also have to remember that this accident will make both of you stronger but you cannot let this man slip away from your fingers, its only gonna be harder for the both of you. Prove to him that you care because jeff can be very forgiving if you show him the loyalty and love he needs.

David can't handle difficult emotions. He needs a therapist help him process the grief, guilt, and other emotions from the past couple of years, otherwise he is going to probably stay depressed. The emotions are there -- I don't think he is a sociopath like some people think who don't have emotions--he just isn't feeling them.

It helps us re-humanize ourselves by adding the language and vocab to our feeings and experiences. David is uncomfortable with being vulnerable like most are. Please read it, it helps you find the words.

Happy sad and Angry but there are way way more emotions humans can feel. When we can’t identify them, we can’t cope properly and that messes up our relationships. i know like it’s not drama jeff has gone through multiple surgeries and has brain damage. he also tried to act like jeff claimed he wasn’t paying for the surgeries when all he said was he was late on a payment and that messed with his credit however, with all the money david has and what he’s put jeff through jeff wanted to try some stem cell treatment and david said he would only pay half yet he doesn’t talk about it. he then says he feels as if it’s like he’s got 150% of the blame went no that’s just how it feels when something is ur fault him not paying for the stem cell treatment is really low of him considering everything. i really don’t think david feels any way tbh he just doesn’t understand how he’s meant to act.

They have always cut people off when it brings negative press (a business move), which makes the person desperate to get back in good with the group, and they hoped Jeff would get over it to be back in their graces. But this is too serious to just cut off and move on, and they are too young and immature to deal with it appropriately. If David and his team were able to take the next step in production, they would have already. This just shows his team doesn’t have the ability to do so, and if he wants to do something dangerous, he needs to do it himself. He has never put himself in danger but recklessly will put his ‘friends’ in danger. He’s too old to say he should not know better.

david...im 26 and got hit by an SUV last June riding my skateboard, and shattered my face/orbital the same way Jeff did, got surgeries and all that and he brought me on his one podcast afterwards to talk about it it was awesome. and ya know, i can't imagine if it was my friend driving the car, because that adds an entire dynamic to the trauma i have now from that accident. Jeff is hurt bad and i know you are as well, and i hear you say "the FACT is that i hurt my friend" and it sounds like you think just because its a FACT that you accidentally almost killed your friend, that you can't continue the friendship you have with him. listen to me dude, that just isn't true. you need to check up on him and regardless if he's a tough guy, and says he doesn't need you by his side and shit, that's just how some people are. they still need support. esp. from you bro. you need to say "idc if you don't want my help, how are you doing" i know easier said than done but you're smart and you know what i mean dude. don't think just because this is so dark of a thing that it ruins your relationship with him. this is a life changing event for both of you and you have to accept it and deal with the hardships it will bring, even between your guys' friendship. please, i love Jeff man and regardless how tough he is, this shit causes "trauma" and i didn't know what that word meant until it happened to me. it may be hard to deal w him at times but man, the best things in life aren't easy. Jeff may come off as a tougher guy than what you may be used to but he was also brought up in a crazy environment in staten island where loyalty is engraved into your soul when it comes to your friends. The best thing to do would be to talk to jeff, keep hitting him up and telling him your feelings and that you want to check up on his surgeries, you want to pay for everything and its the least you can do for everything thats happened to him. You also have to remember that this accident will make both of you stronger but you cannot let this man slip away from your fingers, its only gonna be harder for the both of you. Prove to him that you care because jeff can be very forgiving if you show him the loyalty and love he needs.

David can't handle difficult emotions. He needs a therapist help him process the grief, guilt, and other emotions from the past couple of years, otherwise he is going to probably stay depressed. The emotions are there -- I don't think he is a sociopath like some people think who don't have emotions--he just isn't feeling them.

It helps us re-humanize ourselves by adding the language and vocab to our feeings and experiences. David is uncomfortable with being vulnerable like most are. Happy sad and Angry but there are way way more emotions humans can feel. When we can’t identify them, we can’t cope properly and that messes up our relationships. I feel David and Jeff would benefit from looking at it.

Jeff wanted keep this accident quiet he was embarrassed he was legit hurt badly....and if you know Jeff David breaking a promise is what pissed him off rightfully so...I've agreed to do many dumber things .but end day they both have liability but David was reckless in his control of that machine with his friend on end of rope....they both have right to be upset Jeff's old school ...promise broke has set him off...and let's not forget Jeff did cover for David after the entire time until recently ...so yes he wasn't forced to do it but David is popular cause he does have good friends who do dumb funny shit etc.....Jeff good guy for not suing being asshole ..their agreement was pay my bills and keep the secret ....so I don't blame Jeff for being upset he's old school he's mad promises broken....their all responsible in many ways .but they are gonna vent tell their truth now in their own way to cope...if David is his real friend they'll figure it out ...I like both them I see both sides

David just turns a blind eye to sadness and pain. He is such a lucky dude that he doesn’t care for anything that is not fun or happy. He made this podcast about how much pain he got while living in a million dollar home while Jeff is suffering from the effects of the accident both physically and mentally.

the accident was your fault, you drove, you increased the speed to dangerous speed, you lifted the crane too high, you did not ensure the safety of your stunt. There is nothing complicated here, you are 150% guilty. If Jeff had said lets make a video where you stabbe me with a knife, would you have done that and later be like, he wanted it? it was his idea, i am not quilty? It happened because of your negligence! Stop glorifying and making yourself a victim, a bad show! All this should haunt you, because it is horrible and caused by you and olny by you ! You could have easily say , hey Jeff this sounds dangerous, lets not do it. You did it and you tooked it to the next level,where it never should have get ! @@trevorbrill8989 I doubt jeff wanted to be swinging 60mph on a fking rope attached to a crane, plus David is not a child anymore he's a grown ass man, he has to learn to take accountability. That incident was fully in David's power and he was fully aware of the consequences with steering it that fast. Also in Jeff's podcast, he says that he was just doing it for fun, just to experience a little thrill no a fking close death encounter.
I think what David is saying is that he takes 100% responsibility for what happened, but he’s tired of taking the blame for things that are untrue and didn’t happen.

What makes more sense to me is Natalie has always done David’s ‘dirty’ work, was responsible for coordinating Jeff’s medical bills, was getting upset of how the ‘problem’ wasn’t going away and how it was effecting David negatively (the only way they are able to make money on SM) and started being petty by paying bills late and planning trips when Jeff couldn’t go. They have always cut people off when it brings negative press (a business move), which makes the person desperate to get back in good with the group, and they hoped Jeff would get over it to be back in their graces. But this is too serious to just cut off and move on, and they are too young and immature to deal with it appropriately. If David and his team were able to take the next step in production, they would have already. This just shows his team doesn’t have the ability to do so, and if he wants to do something dangerous, he needs to do it himself. He has never put himself in danger but recklessly will put his ‘friends’ in danger. He’s too old to say he should not know better.

Imagine you are driving in the night and a person who you had no time to react to walks in the road, you hit them with your car and they are severely injured. They definitely have it worse but that doesnt mean you cant feel guilty about it and that it’s the worst thing you’ve experienced.
