WMATA trains in Washington, DC (2022)

Exploring the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) rapid transit system in Washington, DC, USA! WMATA began operation in 1967, taking over operation of the city's bus system. Construction on the "Metrorail" system began shortly after, in 1969, with the first line beginning operation on 1976. The system now consists of 6 rapid transit lines!
This video includes footage of the WMATA rapid transit lines, with guest appearances from other DC transit systems, from a visit in July 2022.
