- Guru and Ganpat are small-time car thieves. One night, they steal a Mercedes Rs. 10 million inside, unaware that the car belongs to a vicious gangster/loan shark called Faujdaar. They try to sell the stolen Mercedes to Suleman Supari, a hitman, who recognizes the car and notifies his friend Faujdaar. Faujdaar sends his henchman with Guru to get back the cash.
Meanwhile, Ganpat has hidden cash in a safe place. After an accident, he loses his memory. Angered by the chain of events, Faujdaar gives Guru three days to return the money.

One of the most underrated actor Kay kay Menon...... Acting skill of actors like Kay kay Menon and our late Irfan khan sir deserve much more appreciation..... I don't get to understand how can actors like Salman khan be labelled as superstar 🤧

People loving this movie in the comments but 99% of them don't know who the director is. This was Pankaj Advani's last film. He died of Cardiac arrest at the age of 45 in 2010. This was his only film which got released in theatres. His storytelling was way ahead of our time, it still is. A graduate from FTII alongside Kundan Shah, he wrote 4 scripts with him from which Kabhi haan kabhi naa with SRK got released. He wrote absurd, dark and surreal stories which were super bold. Even his first film Sunday (1993) was bizarre - even though it was for children. His underground cult classic 'Urf Professor' literally gave birth to dark comedy genre in Indian cinema. His work on MTV and Channel V was super experimental. Alas ! He was taken away too soon. If he was alive, we'd have been blessed with some amazing content.

We have nothing called as reality. Movies like Sankat city, Anwar, traffic signal are movies that deserve more. People only like non sense films of Salman Khan that earn crores in India and these types of movies are rarely watched.
Bhai Bollywood me bhadvagiri vale chutiye actors ko superstar bana diya jata hai or bhadva giri vali movies ko 14-15 movie award mil jate hain lekin. K k menon jesa actor underrated hai. I personally feel 2 actors pankaj kapoor and k k menon ye 2 sabse best actor hain industry me. Or koi itna perfect characterization nhi karta apne character ka. K k menon fans ki likes chye bs.

Among all the films I saw over the last five years this is the best. I stumbled across it on TH-cam and I watched it at a stretch. Beats the hell out of any Bollywood production. KayKay is good and spontaneous and so is Rimi Sen. She looks beautiful and her one liners are awesome. Top Class!
