@@toongamer2810 Sorry, I specialize in English and literature. Whenever a show, movie, book, or video game is mentioned, it’s usually italicized or put in quotations.

I think he's just a fat kid lol. I knew a couple fat kids that acted like Clarence in Elementary school. And by the time we reached middle school they became chill. Every character on this show is just an exaggeration of the kids from your childhood.
0:15 Clarence is full of diversity That was really important to me when I was a kid. Mordecai and Rigby were two men working in a park, Gumball's family is basically a pattern family with the two parents and three children, I can't even count Finn living with his older bro because how crazy and distant in appearance is Ooo: absolutely amazing shows. But Clarence doesn't have all this surreal stuff going on, and it's so casual. I have lived with my grandparents since I was a baby, and I grew older, always seeing different types of family, and it's so good how the families are treated so naturally in Clarence without having an apocalyptic plot with explosions and chaos. The school feels so real and truly believable. The 'adventures' that you can see a kid passing through. I like this show. It's not THE BEST of CN, but it's good.
I think what really helps this show is that none of the characters, save for probably Belson, are just annoying brats. Each one has their flaws but they’re also shown to be completely three dimensional with multiple facets. The main trio are also different aspects of life too with them all being upper class, middle class, and lower class house holds so you get different viewpoints at all times from their different standards of how they were raised.
Clarence is just the 2010s kids version of Smiling Friends. It goes from being so normal and fun to absolutely manic. It's just a bit less random and all over the place. EDIT: I like both shows BTW.
I love how the 2nd movie and Maxley suddenly resurfaced and started trending lately, they're some of my favorite disney movies and characters 😭 i'd love for them to watch both goofy movies
I loved this show because as an only child it was so relatable. There’s so much random stuff I got into that my parents never knew about & it was just me against the world lol. This show is barely exaggerating
I loved watching this show as a kid, so when I learned that not many people enjoyed it was surprising. It feels relatable in so many different aspects, and it makes it very entertaining
This show was always oddly calming. Even in chaotic episodes the way it presented itself was a calm fun attitude inviting you to let you imagination run wild
You know, I never thought I would hear fire emblem three houses battle music in the ending title card for one of these videos but this channel is insane.
Three things I’ve learned about Clarence from your videos -You can’t take Clarence anywhere without him destroying the place. -You can’t leave Clarence alone without him destroying the place. -If unsupervised, Clarence will do the exact opposite of what he is told. This child is a menace.
Clarence started airing when I was a teenager. I love it so much. It's so accurate to the experience of being a kid. Also, we all had a friend like Tsumo; bro is feral.
I think what makes the boat episode work so well is that the show is a aware how mundane and unimportant the boat is. But it feels important because it matters so much to Sumo
kinda funny to point out how optimist clarence is, in brazil the title of the cartoon is "clarence the optimist" cause for some reason brazil really likes adding sub-titles to things that don't need translation
Clearance theory: I've always noticed that Chad looks strikingly familiar to king louie from the jungle book, so I have theory that when he was booted from being a king, he went to Arizona and changed his identity to Chad and disgized as a human, and that's probably the reason why he is so weird at talking and interacting with our world.
“Clarence” was one of my favorite childhood shows, because it presented a reality where weird/special kids weren’t total social outcasts.
Actually a true statment since the show potrays that weird kids can be fun too
Dude so true
Whyd you put Clarence in quotations like it's some foreign substance 😭

This is poetical and beautiful
Somebody dies*
Clarence: ok, it would have to happen some day. Moving on
Clarence is maybe a weird kid who is a little confused, but he still got the spirit.
He's the boy that gives out the golden eggs in the hardest of trying times

wrong time stamp, missing a one
Gumball was diverse. They had a adopted black child.
And Richard had a passion for cross dressing, he did it a lot.
How does this show perfectly capture being a kid again in all the right ways?
This and Craig of the Creek are so real
Unpopular opinion: Clarence was an underrated show.
Agreed
That is not an unpopular opinion
This USED to be an unpopular opinion, now its wayyyy more beloved as the years go by.
@@asmodeusguys4472 and that's what I love about it. It's sad that It ended so early.

Dream Boat will always be my favorite Clarence episode with how they set up the relationship of father & son (or Sumo's home life in general).
Fun Fact: Belson's VA voices Sonic (2010 - Present)
Ain’t no way batman voiced belson 💀

I remember coming from school to my Nana’s and watching this along We Bare Bears. Good times
Dreamboat is genuinely one of the best written episodes of television history.

Clarence is a fever dream and childhood mashed together springkled with pure coffee beans.

that thumbnail is just what if clarence was in bojack horseman
Syler Page getting arrested for stealing a bunch of Nerf guns is so Clarence coded

The episode Man of the House gives me such a Ed, Edd n Eddy vibe. Jeff is Double D, Clarence is Ed, and Sumo is Eddy.
