I feel so bad for Ruin, he was actually a really nice guy and was innocent and he cared for Monty that used to be his friend! Now he just got the virus called “Ruin” because of Creator like the others and suffered and hurting humans. It makes so much sense now why he was called Ruin, because of that virus he knows. I really wanna comfort him and hug him!❤ He didn’t deserved to suffered and have the virus in the past.
It also means that there’s a chance that Ruin is actually nice and gaining his consciousness and his mind back!

I’ve, adored Ruin. Ever-since his introduction around this time last year I’d been taken with his character immediately. I’ve loved watching him grow and change amidst the rest of the cast and make a name for himself. For the entirety OF his time with us I’d always wondered what it was like for him. Back in his home dimension-
Given how Sun was treated by the denizens during his and Moon’s “visit”.
What I can really appreciate about this episode is the fact that we’re given just enough concrete details to put a much clearer picture together- but there’s still room to play with CERTAIN details (duration, timeframes- etc.). As a fanfic writer/story creator I LOVE when this sort of balance is struck with a character. It gives room to play! God-
Knowing what we know now, though-
My heart just absolutely breaks, for him. He’s spent so long so utterly and completely alone, watching his friends waste away at the hands of his ‘father’.
He’s been through so much, TOO much-
HE NEEDS TO FORM BONDS WITH OTHER PEOPLE!!!
And a part of me thinks we may see that, come next month…
Ruin needs a hug, therapy, maybe even a new name- and all the while I am IMMENSELY terrified for Sun now that Nexus wants to enslave him too, ugh-

Knowing Eclipse/Ruin is so good at acting because he had to to survive hurts so much. I liked him as a character before but this just makes me like him and feel bad for him even more.. :(
He went from being under the control of one monster to another, and the only time he felt "freedom," he used it all up trying to get back at the creators.
Calling him ruin feels like an insult now too :(
I feel bad for Ruin's past self, he was just trying to find peace in is own mind and then he had to be untouched while watching his friends all decay internally thanks to the virus. He sounded so scared in the flash forward scene before Monty showed up... Honestly, I really like how he was characterized there! And it was interesting to see how things unraveled from there.

I remember reading in a Solar x Ruin fanfic, the Ruin of that fic, that was cured for the virus, changed his name for Atlas, and honestly i think this name is quite fitting for him, for a fact i've been calling him that for a while. The meaning is somenthing like: "Someone with a great burden". But there is already another caracther with this name in the show, so i think i'll have to find somenthing else.

I feel bad. Having to see his friends change into murderers because of a virus, having to lie about killing people, begging his creator to not throw him into the void between dimensions. I feel so bad for him.
Dumb little theory: Nexus wants Sun to find him the other wither shards right? What if he threatened to do something to Dazzle?
(Honestly idk why I thought of this theory- Nexus can't really threaten to kill Dazzle or something. Since Dazzle is already Evelyn's spirit. I mean unless he found out a way to do something to Evelyn's spirit?)
Here's a potential timeline of events: Nexus takes a moment where Moon isn't nearby and disguises himself as Moon to gain dazzles trust. before kidnapping her. Nexus then makes a deal with sun to free dazzle in exchange for his enslavement.
Nexus knows who dazzle is, and would probably end up finding out that sun is very protective of her. Plus it could possibly negate the risks of getting other family members involved like lunar or Earth.

Well we got some more of a backstory in the whole time ruin Eclipse never was affected by the virus he was pretending this whole time, I feel bad 50/50 with this character but that's was hard to watch

We look into Ruin's past at long last, dang.. it seems like his Monty and him were really good friends, poor Monty though starting to lose their mind and unable to control themselves. Seems that Ruin though was able to control himself best despite being infected with the virus, he had to put on a whole act to make sure his Friends wouldn't dare to hurt him or worse. Poor guy blames himself though for not working fast enough to save them from this virus. Then there was the creator showing up, naturally able to see through his act and force him to do as he wanted. It makes more and more sense of why Ruin Eclipse wanted to rid his Creator and many others..
(Also the thumbnail reminds me so much of that moment in Deadpool and Wolverine movie, people who seen it will know what I'm talking about- that's so freaky and cool-)
Aah hell yeah! I said it before I’ll repeat it again, the base concept of Ruin’s character is the most interesting, underrated and complex one among all the cast members and it could easily earn a spin off series that explains his backstory and what happened to that mess of a dimension he came from. Change my mind.
OH MY GOD YES. literally his character is so underrated...I wished people liked him more.
even though its unlikely, he would he so perfect for a spinoff series. no other character needed, just Ruin, his thoughts and adventures.
it'll probably never happen, but I at least hope this show does a good job at exploring his full potential as a character and all of his complexities

ruin DIDNT want to kill 5000 dimensions, but he literally had no choice with the knowledge of what his creator did- he literally stood face to brain with the 'man' who made him and his friends SUFFER SO MUCH? i feel like it not just ruin would try free everything they could from what the creator did.
for what jigsaw saw, heard and WENT THROUGH first hand, i dont blame him. he had his facts we only NOW know.
after his dimension becoming THAT, the even THOUGHT of 'creator council' would be a everlasting traumatising anxiety to deal with, just try processing the idea of the universe dying, BUT YOU. YOU HAVE THE CHANCE!! You could save it? and many other worlds from being RUINED by the man that tormented him since creation?
if you had the chance to stop a multi-world catastrophe would you? stop the end of the physical comprehension of life and existence? if you saw the MASS DESTRUCTION of your home? wouldnt you want to stop it from happening again when you find a new one?
jigsaw had a death or death situation, he picked the one that would lead to less casualty in the long run.
its let the ones who deserve to die with needed sacrifices to save WORLDS or let those who deserve no morality exist and wipe out EVERYTHING.
and what we just saw was ruins side of the story, the reasoning and the last piece of the puzzle frame that gave us the idea what happened and WHY.
keep in mind i believe its the puzzles frame done, the main centre piece, the LOREEE has yet to be unveiled.

This was certainly not how I was expecting to see Ruin's past. If anything, I would've thought he would be the one to explain what happened in his dimension to Sun, Moon, and everyone else. But nope, apparently Nexus just did a thing and now we're seeing the events unfold. But at the very least, Ruin did have an "I told you so" moment by killing all those Creators a few months ago.
