Their music always change almost in every album. From classic heavy metal, to groove metal (Borneo), alternative metal (170 Volt), into heavier stuff like their latest material. Great dose of metal guitar heaven by Eet Sjahranie, former session guitar player who recorded many album with Indonesian pop stars from Anggun C Sasmi to Fariz RM.
Edane, according to Hai magazine in 1992, have two meanings:
1). E dan E (E and E), the initials of the group founder: Ecky and Eet; and
2). Edane ini javanese means edan (crazy / loco)

Eet memang dari kecil hobby main gitar dan cukup beruntung karena terlahir berkecukupan..FYI ayahnya Gubernur di Kalimantan dan keluarganya begitu dihormati...dulu dia sekolah di bandung,ayahnya ngirim duit tiap bulan dari kalimantan ditabung nya...beli gitar plus efek.skill gitar diasah terus...dan dia juga pernah sempat sekolah Musik Di USA...pulang2 Dari USA jadi Gitaris Profesional..meskipun kabarnya Sekolah Musil disana ga diselesaikan nya CMIIW.

its one of the old school metal band in Indonesia, I grew up listening to them lol..the way you pronounce EDANE is like this E ( like when you say "Egg"), DA ( like when you say "dabbing") , and NE like when you say "never" at least that's how it's pronounced.

Dari sekian kali denger reactionnya, channel ini emang paling jujur dan paham. Sampe dia heran banyak band dengan kualitas Bagus. Tapi gak kedengeran di luar sana.. Karena selera musik di Indonesia ya gitu dah..
kebnyakan jedag jedugnya bor,udah mati yg joget joget ganti jedag jedug herann!
Selera musikalitas orang² kita yang bermasalah... Ini musik LAKI man,,, mungkin yang lain ga Laki...
ini bukan masalah selera musik, jelas bukan hanya masalah genre saja, tapi bagaimana pengetahuan setiap individunya terhadap seni itu sendiri, bisa kita kerucutkan, negara kita yang notabene sistem pendidikan, kultur, bahkan agama menjadi salah satu permasalahan. doktrin musik keras ,tatto dan cara berpakaian, menjadi nilai negatif dinegara kita, diidentikan dengan kekerasan, brokenhome,narkoba dll.
stigma ini menjadi bagian dilingkungan kita.
bagaimanapun musik metal identik dengan barat, dan indonesia ketimur-timuran, maka akan sulit berkembang, atau "diakui" dinegara kita sendiri
