To accomplish the whole thing on 2 and 3 wheels is amazing and would probably be on a bucket list for me. Thanks for sharing the journey 🙂🏍👍

@@PurpleOnThree i believe after August 30th they are to roll out the parts. I wondered when you said you had it fixed before if it was the correct type of sprocket fix or just a patch.
Awesome sauce...sorry I'm so late to the party...but I'm here now. Looks like you two had a fantabolous journey. When you posted the decals it reminded me of lost luggage yet again. Your decals and others I needed to post in the Alps is in my lost luggage😡 Route 66...1, 2, 3 go. If you're not first you're last lol.
@@PurpleOnThree No still no sign of it, and this was on the arrival so I had to purchase new riding gear LOL...funny but not LOL. I've filed a claim against the airline for reimbursement but I'd rather have all my things back.
Ah guys this looked great and so cool what you got to do. Love the skeleton bus driver 😄 and especially loved that giant cross which I think you said was in Texas . I think over there in Anerica it seems more open to Christian things than here in the UK though being Welsh and living in North Wales it is moreso than in England . That off roading truck looked brilliant and I loved Santa Monica. Guys, great video , thanks for sharing, new subscriber here ~ Anna ( and Alf !) Catch you again
Thank you so much, Anna...and Alf, lol. Yes, it was an epic trip...20 days on Rt. 66 and then another 20 days exploring before we came home. Twenty states total and 8800 miles. Great moto vlog and it’s been a while but I’ve seen a few photos on Instagram! You had an amazing time on Route 66 love the spraying on the car! Well I loved watching all this just wish you had done a full vlog series but it’s so time consuming!
Thank you so much! It is too hard to do videos out on the road but we have two terabytes of footage LOL so, there will be more in-depth videos... I guess we can call it a series but we won't call it a series LOL
Thank you! It was pretty difficult squeezing 20 days down into 10 minutes lol. Have a lot more videos about the trip but have to stay home long enough to put them together LOL. Leaving tomorrow...😂😂😂
@@PurpleOnThree Ahh, the life of someone who doesn't have the 9-5 grind anymore! I'm totally looking forward to being in that situation myself! I can only imagine how much footage you recorded on so many miles traveled :D Where y'all headed next?
@@PurpleOnThree BTW, you did a great job of not letting it be a slideshow, but breaking up the talking sections and picture sections, I thought that was really well-done!
Just don't wish it too fast to get here! Life is different once the kids are grown and gone. I enjoy freedom but I miss them too. Anyways, we are heading to Sturgis tomorrow and going to ride in Wyoming, Colorado, Utah and Nebraska as our goal is to ride all the states...so we will be gone for probably 3 weeks or so 😊💜
Thank you, John! Did not want it to be a slideshow but wanted to put something in from each state...pics and nd videos. It was hard to keep the length down! 😂
Sounds like you guys had an absolute blast!!! When I lived in Oklahoma, I used to ride on Rt 66 on my bike...just to "get my kicks on route 66." That was a long time ago, before everyone had cellphones, before there were motovloggers, before there was a TH-cam, before there was high speed internet, before there was....hahaha. Man, the few that did have any type of internet, it was dial up and it could take an hour to download an image. Hahaha
Wonderful memories for sure! I enjoyed Oklahoma...seemed like we were there for awhile...we got to see Fort Reno and the 66 Museum and a cute little store in Sapulpa and other things. What do you remember seeing on Rt. 66 when you lived there? Hey! I remember dial up...is that dating myself, lol???
@@PurpleOnThree I don't really remember anything super special the times I rode it from the Tulsa to OK City. I just remember the nostalgic feeling of Americana every time I did. What I remember most, and miss, is visiting the Gilcrease Museum, if y'all ever get a chance it is awesome, and it is one of only a few great museums I have ever heard of that takes donations instead of charging a fortune to get in. That way even people with very limited funds can see an amazing collection. I would love to go and visit the Will Rogers museum up in Claremore, that is really cool, too. And the.....I forget off the top of my head what it is called, something about Davis gun history museum , something like that, also free and in Claremore. They had some very interesting stuff, also, Tommy no doubt would love it. I miss seeing the incredible Christmas lights at Rhema Church. People come from all over to see this amazing display that changes every year. It is not only free to either drive through, or get out and walk around with a hot cocoa or coffee to keep you warm, but unlike many places with less amazing light displays, Rhema Church never charges. Bare in mind, it has been MANY years since I lived there and things may have changed. Hmm, just had a thought. I will turn 65 in a couple of weeks...maybe next year I will ride to Tulsa area and look up some old friends, visit the museums I mentioned, and ride Rt 66 for my 66th birthday. Oh yeah, making plans in my head as I type. 😁
For as long as I can remember I’ve heard about root 66, it’s looks awesome apart from the random road closure…how long did you go off road for? Great video…. The date is very tough for me, probably the worst day of my life 😢
First of all, I am sorry...guessing you had a great loss on that date...hugs and prayers to you. 🥹 🙏...there are quite a few sections of Rt. 66 that are nonexistent now...I had no idea that is how it would be. So...the off roading...well...ahem...one of us got stuck and it wasn't the Spyder lol. I would say we were dealing with the effects of off roading for an hour or so, lol. Of course there will be a future video!! 😜

Thank you, Craig! Twenty days crammed in to 10 minutes lol...memories to last a lifetime!!
@@PurpleOnThree For sure...Thats the best part of this hobby !!! (other than the new friends we get along the way )
Enjoyed thanks for sharing
Thank you, Larry! Jeff a great weekend 🤗💜
I hope to follow in your footsteps very soon! Very nice video! Congratulations!
Yayyyy!!! You are going to love it!! Thank you so much for watching! W🤗💜e still have a few more Route 66 videos to finish. I highly recommend Jerry McClanahan's book EZ 66 Guide...the maps are very detailed and he updates them regularly.
I know that was a fantastic trip!!🔥
Yes, thank you Nore...memories to last a lifetime!!
Great video guys! Was like reliving our trip all over again!!!
Glad you enjoyed it! Bob, so cool that we all got to travel that this year! Memories to last a life time!
Meet you at the Wigwam Hotel....😂😂🎯🎯🪓🪓🏹🏹
I’m loving this tour guys!!!!
I can’t wait to do it!
COME ON OVER!! 🤙🤙💚💚💜💜🥰🥰
You will enjoy it, Rochelle, for sure!! Will you be renting bikes when you come over??
@@PurpleOnThree we will have to rent bike, can’t afford to ship our over xx
I'm sure that would cost a fortune to ship them!
Finally had a chance to catch up on videos and love watching!!! Enjoyed the pics and thanks for sharing the journey!!!
💚💚
We both appreciate you! Sorry you have been so busy! Guess what? I had to have another sprocket put on last week...15,000 miles since the last one...can't wait for the real fix!
@@PurpleOnThree i believe after August 30th they are to roll out the parts. I wondered when you said you had it fixed before if it was the correct type of sprocket fix or just a patch.
Apparently it was just the same sprocket... only a new one.
Awesome sauce...sorry I'm so late to the party...but I'm here now. Looks like you two had a fantabolous journey.
When you posted the decals it reminded me of lost luggage yet again. Your decals and others I needed to post in the Alps is in my lost luggage😡
Route 66...1, 2, 3 go. If you're not first you're last lol.
😂😂💜💜
Lost luggage...hmmm....did it ever appear???
@@PurpleOnThree No still no sign of it, and this was on the arrival so I had to purchase new riding gear LOL...funny but not LOL.
I've filed a claim against the airline for reimbursement but I'd rather have all my things back.
oooo dbaaaa....love it my dear friend
Thank you so much, my friend! It was a lot of fun!! 💜💜🤗🤗
Very nice, and hope you had a lot of fun and a great ride too
Oh my, yes! We rode it in 20 days... So much fun! So many videos to put together😁😅... How are you doing and how has your summer been?
Tuned in…. 👍🏻
Thank you so much!!
Some states are more open to Christianity than others. Checking your channel out now!! Looks like you take some amazing adventures!!
@@PurpleOnThree That was fabulous, i loved it Ah right yes I think you have the bible belt area there ?
And thank you for checking us out guys. Well you know, everything on our channel is within 90 minutes of our house , we are blessed :)
@@PurpleOnThree lol
What a great trip! Thanks for sharing it with all of us! :D
I can only imagine how much footage you recorded on so many miles traveled :D
Where y'all headed next?
Such a sweet journey!!
Heather, it was a blast! 💜🤗
@@PurpleOnThree I can only imagine! Thanks for sharing it with us!
I was in Chicago in 1996 and it was snowing. So bitterly cold.
I think it may be called the windy City 😁
Terrific video Jody! I so want to do this ride some day.
Thank you!! It was really something trying to shrink down 20 days into 10 minutes lol. 😁💜
And I hope you get to do it someday!! 🤗🤗🤗

@@PurpleOnThree thanks, yes it was a sad day in our lives but we still carry on, wasn’t expecting the date to be mentioned so it bought a tear to my eye… loved the video… maybe one day I’ll get to travel down there too
@@hvee4 Lee, I am really sorry for your loss. I hope you get to travel Rt. 66 some day! It was a lot of fun! Looks like you are having some amazing fun in Greece!!

I think the city was mentioned. I think that Farris wheel was in the opening of the movie.

Hello! I sure hope you get the opportunity to ride it some day!! It took us from June 2-June 21....so 20 days...we saw a lot but we did not see everything...we also had a few side trips off 66. I would say you need at least 2 weeks! 🤗🤗💜💜
