@@Hi-fd4cw you can make your own fan collection! there's a lot to be found on youtube...Damon never stops working and creating, I hope he is an inspiration to you like he is to me. Cheer up! :)
Holy shit, this sounds good, I hadn't heard this song in years. Hearing it again, not to mention hearing such a crisp, clean version, was really nice. Thanks, mate!
If you are talking about the missing dissonant chord, I replaced the ending with the one in the album version because the alternate was cut in an odd way. Maybe you've heard another upload that dealt with the issue in a similar fashion maintaining that chord but adding the extra chord from the final version.
@@grmarchive the alternative version was what played on the radio if I recall correctly. This is the reason you hear the static every time it is uploaded - hard to preserve something from a radio I guess. You did a good job though. This has the best sound quality from the ones I have listened to so far. Only that no one can get the ending quite right it seems. Those two notes at the end are supposed to be there, but people try cutting the first out for some reason. You can even hear them in the official version. Only reason it sounds different, is because the version you hear in the official release has a shortened ending. This was done on purpose, probably because the alternative version was the one they worked with the most if I had to guess. That is the irony behind it; the official version is the one that sounds a little weird. That also would explain why so many people like this version more. Also, I heard that you used the reverb in the beginning. It's fair, but the alt. version does not have a reverb. I think that was something they added later for the official release.
@GRM ARCHIVE I need to apologize real quick. I put the alternative version through a spectrogram to clean it up myself, and I just found out that the Morse code in the beginning is echoed in the alternative version, just not the vocals
Holy fuck I didn’t think I’d ever hear such a clean version of this, I absolutely adore this, thank you so fucking much
I'm glad you like it, this version is criminally underrated.

Another amazing take
Thanks.
I'd love to mix both versions of Crashing Down but I don't know if the small bit at the teaser would work. Maybe I'll give it a try someday.
@@grmarchive holdin my thumbs fo ya^^ Maybe it could work with putting the english snippet both at the beginning and the end of the arabic version?

Yeah, you did a good job cleaning it up but too bad there are 5 seconds cut from the end…
