4:52 - wrong code :) LayoutInspector shows that all Composables are recompose every time if user changes textfield content . Solution is : lambda should be on top level like this
val onNameChangeText = remember {
{ nameVal: String -> name = nameVal }
} .

I think it's more of an industry paradigm shift rather than Jetpack and Flutter copying one another. I see it as a good thing, moving towards better patterns and less spaghetti.
