Storywise, I love that The Commonwealth is embracing imperialism, it’s the best way to civilize and rebuild the the Wasteland. Though It’d probably be best if they stopped at the Mississippi River, can’t get TOO big now.
Btw if the FO4 APC's name sounds familiar, that's because I got the 'Hermit' part from Spydingo's video on the vehicle. Thought it was a good name and since we don't have an official one from Bethesda, I just decided to go with that.
So I just discovered this series randomly tonight and i will say it's a lot of fun! I love little speculative world building projects like this and it makes me feel less ridiculous for all the mental leg work I've been putting into my own "post game" world building for a New Vegas fanfic. That being said, I do feel the development of the United Commonwealth is more than a little extreme in it's speed. I actually choked on my drink when it was mentioned they were outright producing APCs and Vertibirds. I feel like by 2300 at the most it should be a formalized infantry force supported by restored power armor and basically any Vertibirds they can get their hands on. That's just my two cents though. I do appreciate the inclusion of a Commonwealth Navy, a lot of worldbuilding projects tend to forget navies aren't just for fighting other navies and would be essential in any large scale military operation. The switch in narrator in the most recent videos was also a very good call, The Ron Perlman voice is always classic but its issues were a tad distracting in the older videos. Really looking forward to the next parts in the series!
@@Callsign_Bearhate towards super mutants is justified, because except of ghouls who can't control process of turning feral east coast super mutants fully aware of their actions and they like it, they enjoy it, yes their intelligence is low but they have consciousness.
The Marines use gear from the Ample Camo Pack mod and the Army uses S&S gear + a helmet from the CWR mod. The weapons are just the R91 from the Aftermath mod.
Good story and I have a question sorry if I asked a lot. How many Armored vehicles did they get exactly? If they find a heavy tank, APC, and other abandoned equipment it would be great but they must keep intact after 200 years to prevent an accident. Also, the weapons like the M16 it would be great if they add attachment examples of flashlight, laser, optic, grenade launcher, ammo type, and much more if they want to replace the M16 with a new weapon it would be useful for survival such as AK-47 or another assault rifle. The Infantry gear looks like NCR or in the Vietnam War, so they need an upgrade for body armor so they can survive for long like in the modern war in Russia-Ukraine War Also the jet plane and bomber they very need it for recon or air support to make the enemy can't do to the Commonwealth Air Forces What about the glowing sea? the Commonwealth needs to surround that and prepare a heavy fortify to prevent a creature from escaping or super mutant attack if not it would be chaotic if the super mutant or creature attack Commonwealth
I can't really say any exact numbers, but just that it wouldn't be nearly enough to supply the entire military. The creation of the M1 troops carrier allows for more vehicles to make to the troops, but that's a slow process that will take years. Old vehicles were repaired and are now being maintained by the military. If it couldn't be repaired then it was scrapped for parts so that they can be used to repair other vehicles. AS far as planes go, the Commonwealth doesn't have access to fixed wing aircraft until the later stages of the BOS-Commonwealth War. The Commonwealth Army and Marines use the R91 and later in the war they adopt a rifle created using the R91 as a base. Attachments are expensive so they aren't really present. Even modern militaries struggle to provide the average grunt with optics for his rifle. The gear they use is good enough to get them through the wars they fight. I haven't really game much thought to the glowing sea tbh. I think that setting up patrols in the area and restricting settlers from setting up too close is all that's needed to stop it from ever being a major issue. Though maybe that's something to explore in the future.

I know it sounds ridiculous but they need expanded territory also GECK can help to restore nature but limited except the Enclave knows how to copy it. Humanity wants that like Libya under Gaddafi it's very important thing so the people would like join the commonwealth for united like Gaddafi Idea to united entire Africa as one
Just because we both pull from US history, it doesn't mean the stories are the same. It also doesn't mean I'm "copying" his work. If you had even the most basic understanding of US history then you'd easily be able to find what inspired the story.
