I disagree, I love these sprites in a semi-ironic way, they're so campy and stylized. Umineko is way too long to be adapted into a full on mystery anime so why not make Umineko into this high camp experience.
@@LeafSouls If Umineko anime had these character sprites, much more fluid animation and kept up this intense blaring sound effects and music as well as this level of voice acting it would have been a high camp masterpiece.
My effing GOD, I love it when Erika gets all gremlin-like. Whether it's her maniacal raspy growls, or her cartoonishly happy crudeness; whenever Erika acts or even talks aggressively it's always so entertaining.
I don't like how "mother" holds chick Beatrice in the hand "take this dress, take these hair...". Beatrice was not created by Sayo. In fact, elder Beatrice is meant to be the endless witch (aka Sayo Yasuda). To me, Sayo is Beatrice, she just regained memories, because it's shown in ep8 manga, after rebirth in metaworld Battler lost memory, meaning Beato would lose it too, so there should not be separate person holding her in the hands. It made everything more confusing, a lot of theories about "mother" and less focus on the character.
Damn no wonder media-themed pachislots are so big in Japan. I'd probably just keep playing to watch all the animations.
