I actually quite like him. Other than the mistake he made which you pointed out I find his voice pleasant, he is rather insightful

@@longnguyen9839 It is very possible that his voice might be pleasant to some. But let me tell you, he is not insightful. This dude knows absolutely nothing about TT at this level and it is very obvious and annoying.
Other then that I truly get what you said and I know that majority of people watching these matches do not have the insight and therefore are ok with him. However I think it is “win win” situation when commentator is at least semi-pro player who is able to educate the viewers about the game from his perspective. These guys are all about the show (viz. Darko sparko bulls*it).

@@filipcernota4538 yeah the Darko Sparko was definitely cringe. Almost as though he’s trying to create a nickname for the player (i.e. silent assassin, dark night, dictator etc) but he’s definitely not at that level authority in the international TT community to do so. If you look past the occasional cringe, he sometimes offers more insight than Adam Bobrow into the game dynamics (serve-receive patterns, playing style ). I don’t unconditionally like all commentators and I think the British commentators (esp the female one) in the T2 competitions were simply horrible. At best they were only able to repeat back the last shot that was taken and offered zero insight.

@@filipcernota4538 do you have any commentator that you like? I’ve always thought the commentary in the Tt community has been a bit lacking even with Adam. I love Adam and think he’s done an amazing job being an ambassador for the sport but if you look past his endearing energy and catchy phrases, his insight into the tactical elements of gameplay aren’t that substantial. But TT is hard to commentate on because it’s so fast paced and one of the most important aspects of the game,spin, can only be indirectly inferred rather than observed directly.
