Alabama doesn’t hire Shula as they come off a good 2002 season, and likely means that Saban never even goes to Alabama. A lot of what if’s, especially in the 4-6 years before Saban arrives at Alabama. A lot of things had to go right for Saban to end up at Alabama and the dynasty to begin there.
