If I'm not mistaken, if this IS Vancouver 1975...the personnel would be the following rockin' teenage combo: Napoleon Murphy Brock, Andre Lewis, Roy Estrada, Terry Bozzio and FZ...happened to be able to be there for my only FZ concert...unforgettable landmark I my concert-going life...
According to what I've read, her 1st show was in Waterbury CT on October 29th 1975 [post Vancouver], and her last show was on December 9th in Québec City...
For some reason every time I hear sleep dirt I get introspective and emotional , this variation and blending of multiple songs is nothing new from FZ ,the brilliant piece titled Five Five Five was 1st introduced as a solo in the song Cone heads . Music is the best , FZ !
Can anyone tell me where I can find a version of Sleep dirt without the vocals added as I have learned has happened to the cd-version? As now, I am stuck with a worn down copy on open reel from the original vinyl my older brother borrowed ages ago.
The most recent 2012 Zappa Records issue is the original vinyl mix. There's a site called Zappa Patio that has all the info regarding the different issues of each Zappa album
