I’M SCREAMING, THIS IS BEAUTIFUL! It always feels like nothing is creative, and we lose our love for art, but we keep creating and MAYBE we’ll spark a new fire, something that to ourselves is at least an ember shaped different than a line.
OH MY GOD i have adhd and this is essentially how doing anything feels. i start a project, work on it for a few minutes and then im bored. and the cycle repeats forever so now i have endless projects ill never finish or have anything to show for😭

Something that really helped me with this problem with art is to view art as the PROCESS, and not the finished piece.
Because yeah. Everything has been done before. Your work will get old quickly. AI can make more and more pieces of art at better and better quality.
If your goal is to make art that is original, that others like, that rises to the top or is special, you're nearly doomed to fail.
But nothing can take away the joy of CREATION, of pouring your soul into your art and living it.
So yeah- art is the process of creation, and not just a product:)

As someone who has basically been stuck in an endless cycle of rewriting, reworking, and tweaking songs, compositions and art that I've been working on on and off, this nailed the feeling on the head.
