    Hey there! I am restoring my mom's old 15 bar oscar schmidt autoharp. All the felt fell off when I took the bars off to restring it! So i need help cutting out the felt bars for the right chord progressions. Could you make a video or message me a chord sheet?

    Should we replace E7 with E-maj? Do we really need E7?
    p.s. I love Mr. Gardner's perspectives, just makes sense.

      question:
      Should we replace E7 with E-maj?
      discussion:
      lets say we are in the key of A.
      Both in the Factory Setting and my
      setting there is a simple triangle
      of [D][E7][A]. In a typical 3 chord song
      A=1,D=4,E7=5, the 5 chord is usually a 7th.
      In my Setting the 1 chord is always in
      the middle row, and the 4 and 5
      chord form a triangle. There is no E-maj.
      If you really wanted to play in E you only
      have the triangle [E7]=1,[A]=4,[B7]=5.
      But I can't play in E. Sorry I cant be of more help.

      Thank you for responding; I am honored. I have watched your videos several times to get everything out of them. I love the way you think--the intellect to really understand the mechanics of music and the instrument. Genius.
