@@herman65 Idk if you've played recently but its working pretty smoothly man most things do sync up. They have a dev build of 1.6 which syncs ESL addons aswell

My buddy and I have played this for at least 30 hours now throughout the week and it’s such a blast, my game crashes like crazy sometimes and others it doesn’t. But idc cause it’s Skyrim with a friend plus it takes me like 15 secs to rejoin anyway lol
I can fully confirm that the patches really do help. Played it the other day for a good 3 hours and the only thing bad that happened was i got stuck in a cage after dying to raiders in a cave (pretty immersive honestly lol) and my friend was questing on the other side of the map (we were testing to see if we could quest separately even when things are not synced). We also used a server from shock byte for 5 bucks, so idk if that maybe made it better? But I hope this upset helps!!!

Ngl got weird vibes from the "'We used tons of bugs and exploits to make the game easier but then got frustrated when some of the bugs made the game bugier for us"' tone of this video. Like obviously some of the stuff like doors not opening for one player are bad. That being said, I dont know how much of a reliable review this is for somebody just wanting to play the game with their friends. Its in stark contrast to a lot of things ive heard about the mod lately and its hard to pick out which issues are actually with the mod when played in a conservative safe manner, and which ones were fabricated from the shenanigans like duping items, spawning in mobs to grind etc.
I've played the mod a lot. None of the commands or bugs have caused any sort of performance or cause the game to crash more. The only time players have caused crashing is when all using the same menu at the same time or trying to do the same thing. Almost every crash is completely random with this.

I wish they improve its framework to let more modders get in to create more content and connect the dots with other conversion mods (Enderal is my fav so far) + Fallout Together 🙏
dont know what you did to destroy your game but honestly most of the main issues you described can be avoided by not being in a party with someone, just go along and do the same quests at the same time. Allows us (my friend and i) to get the same rewards. Also just not using fast travel and waiting stops things from breaking. Alternatively you can just put a reward in a container and revert load to get it back duping the item. obviously this can be abused and you can cheat the game pretty easy, but nothing more than what you can do base game by yourself.

Glad you enjoyed it. As for the content mods, no, I didn't install expansions like Bruma. We played only "vanilla" game with all DLCs. But theoretically, it can work if both players install the same custom content

For those who lag like crazy make sure to go into your graphics setting on your computer and force apps to use gpu not igpu if you can because the game launches with igpu. Cpu can't do all the work lol

But these crashes are individual and don't affect the whole party. Sometimes it is 50/50 either you or your leader crashes every 10 minutes, and sometimes you may play for hours without a single crash 👍 Don't hesitate to try this mod, the experience may be different from mine
Ah okay but one question... How can i start Skyrim Together in Steam? Everthing works, but it dosent Run in Steam... So i dont get Play Time, cant get Achievements and i dont have the Steam overlay ingame? I dit it on Vortex. I Installed the Mod Enabler to but If Steam dont start Skyrim Special Edition in the Launcher how do i get all These Stats?
@@EQGleichen Strange, I used to launch it via Vortex and Steam autodeteted the game with no issues. I was playing the game with overlay and getting all the achievements. Maybe you selected the wrong exe file I have no idea. Create a new shortcut in vortex and make sure it uses /Data/SkyrimTogetherReborn/SkyrimTogether.exe. Then target SkyrimSE.exe
Do both players have to have the same mod loadout? Or can one player have 250 mods installed and the other player have none, but will see all the 250 mods the host player has ?
Both If you plan to interact with custom content, like items, quests or zones. If you use only visual mods, like custom UI, HD textures, shaders etc. you don't have to give all that to other player as it is client-side only
Nothing has changed since then. You can finish all quests but expect to encounter bugs. Just try to avoid radiant and escort quests - they are annoying and buggy in coop 👍
While yes, the latest version dates few months ago, I don't think that it is abandoned. at least not yet xD. The devs stated on their site that they don't have enough time to maintain and improve it. I wish it was better, but it is better than nothing. And they also plan to publish Fallout Together at some point. 👍
@@Firzj Not to mention they explicitly state that they aren't a studio on their FAQ. I don't know if it's 100% true so take it with salt, but I heard a time or two that some of the devs were college students which would explain some of the update delay.
@@Firzj Unless I missed that message, its very unlikely to see Fallout Together soon, if at all. The main Dev won't do it alone due to the sheer amount of work it needs and nobody else has really contributed directly to Fallout Together either.

I haven't seen any, with names or compass, but you can try Skyrim Together Plus mod. It has "ring of friendship" to show friend's location.

you can play with players who have no mods installed, but it might cause errors or crashes. They won't see what you see in your modded skyrim
