Michael Richards (Cosmo Kramer) and The Evergreen State College

On the evening of May 14th, 1998, the Seattle, Washington-based KING-TV (channel 5) broadcast an edition of their "Evening Magazine" television program in which they briefly highlighted actor Michael Richards' connection to Olympia, Washington and The Evergreen State College there. The occasion was the upcoming series finale later that evening on the NBC television network of the wildly popular sitcom "Seinfeld," in which Richards was a major super star. He had played the zany character "Cosmo Kramer" for all nine seasons of the show's run.
