- Hello everyone! Today I went for a drive in my brothers Stage 2 Tuned Mercedes CLA. This car has so many mods that I cannot even remember them off the top of my head. There are plenty of loud pops, bangs, and pulls, along with memes in this video. I hope you all enjoy!

Bro that's sick. I own a late 2018 45amg stock I haven't seen much info on these cars in general in regards to mods to help with more bang and crackles. What would you suggest to improve the pops I normally have to sit in race mode and throttle between 4000-4500 rpm to get what you have at 2000rpm blows my mind lol.

This is nice bro!! I have a stage 2 tuned gla 250 with full bolt ons and I created a custom turbo intake pipe with the hoses relocated and trust me it spools super nice and more power on mid end and top end. Next I may custom put the gla 45 turbo with ported headers and a retune. Where did you get the gauge at?

Thinking of putting a wide body kit on my 2015 CLA, did you have to roll or cut the fenders?

Would it sound nice if I have just a muffler delete on my cla with a stage 2 tune without removing the resonator and downpipe?
To run a stage 2 tune it is recommended to remove your catalytic converters. You could do it, however I think stage 1 is better for muffler delete, then once you are catless I would go stage 2.
Make sure you subscribe to the channel, because we got some more epic mods for the CLA coming very soon!
@NanuGarage with catalytic converter deleted, will it pass smog?
@@EvanCrayton1983 unfortunately it will not pass smog. This means you would have to put your stock downpipe back on, or you can get (dirty smog) where they will write you as good behind the scenes. The second method I haven’t tried myself but doesn’t seem to hard to get done...

Of course bro! So this car is fully straight piped. No cats, no resonator, and no muffler, which makes the pops a lot louder and makes the car faster. Then the tune is a stage 2 by ProjectA. I would hit up ProjectA on Instagram and ask about getting a stage 2 tune. Stage 2 tune on this setup will shoot flames too! Also watch my latest video to see everything that is done to this CLA. 👍🏽
@Eric Kim stage 1 has less power, and lower pop frequency. The pops are also quieter but still enough to scare people lol. Also on stage 2 you could shoot flames with the proper setup.

Hi there, i have one question, the pop and bangs, will it do any harm to the car? I have Gla250.
Good question. The pops and bangs basically come by burning a little bit of extra fuel in the engine creating a backfire or "bang noise". If the pops and bangs aren't super frequent or crazy I would say it is 100% safe. Stock mercedes cars pop and bang from factory by having a different tune and they are proven to be fine from it. This Mercedes in the video has been driven hard with this tune for at least 2000 miles, and has had no issues.
@@NanuGarage man thank you for the answer man. So it means that the pop and bang I can install it on my GLA just to show off, but do not use it frequently. Is it? I'm not a racing driver. Just a normal car guy who loves to drive the GLA250.
@@rahmanadreline yeah you can tune your car to make the pop noise. There is a stage 1 tune for less frequency of the pops, and a stage 2 for more frequency. Stage 2 you run more risk, however, at a stage 1 tune I don’t think you run any risk. You can message @ProjectA_Norcal on Instagram for details on the tune. The tune is all you need for the pops and bangs.

Stage 2 has 285 wheel horsepower and 415 NM toque.

Does the tune damage the engine/transmission?
No, the tune is safe for the engine and transmission. The tuners at Project A will create a tune file safe for your car according to the engine, number of miles on the car, and upgrades(If any have been done).

Does it pop a lot in reg Driving mode? Or only in M & S?
In eco mode it makes little pops around 2.5k rpms. However, the tuner can customize how much you want it to pop.
